Having recently moved into a house we had a concern regarding possible rat infestation in the loft. Coquet Pest Controller Ian BOWMAN was quick to respond and indicated the likelihood it was a historic infestation. He left bait in the loft which was checked a week later and confirmed his original thoughts. He searched the loft and was able to identify possible points of entry for pests and gave us advice regarding clearing and cleaning the area which we were happy to deal with ourselves.Ian was extremely professional and a really nice person to deal with.His service was extremely good value for money.We would highly recommend him to other people.

A problem arose at home with a wasp nest in the cavity of the old stone brickwork outside an upstairs bedroom. Some of the wasps were somehow making their way into the house and this all meant that either sitting or enjoying a BBq outside rather risky.One quick email to Coquet P.C and the problem was totally resolved within less than 24 hrs, by Ian treating the nest with a blast of chemicals and no disruption to us.On the basis of the excellent service Ian provided and his easy to deal with style, he gets our vote! I can not reccomend Ian highly enough. I am terrified of wasps and upon arrival I was horrified to find my dads house where I was on holiday had a nest that had a lot of wasp activity in the facia boards. Upon looking on a local Facebook page Ian at Coquet Pest Control name came up lots of times with good reviews. I sent him a message to which he replied very quickly and said could come in the morning much to my pleasure. As per his message he rang 10 mins before arrival and calmed me down whilst sorting out his poles and spray then dealt with the little blighters quickly and efficiently and put me at ease that they would all be gone by the evening an they were. He even managed to rescue a hedgehog that had unfortunately managed to get under the safety net on the pond. Lovely professional approach with great understanding of my intense fear can't thank him enough.

We contacted Coquet Pest Control to inspect our loft, as we thought there may be some sort of pest living there. Ian was brilliant, leaving no stone unturned and explaining absolutely every aspect of the operation. He left bait in place to ensure that any problem would be dealt with efficiently. Apart from his total professionalism, he is most definitely a people person and so customer friendly. He also assured us that if we had any further issues, not to hesitate contacting him, which is most reassuring. ?Update- EXCELLENT! 2nd visitIf I could give ten stars I would!Ian returned early this morning and checked all the traps etc and gave expert advice and I know that this problem is soon to be finished! What a relief. Lovely man and a pleasure to have around. I?d never call anyone else.1st visit- I knew I could rely on Ian from our experience last year when he visited to help us with a rodent problem and again with cluster flies. Within 24 hours of me calling him he managed to visit today and to set baited traps and was very reassuring arranging a follow up visit for next week as well as giving us lots of expert advice to secure our property.
