The place is well maintained and in a good location. Unfortunately on every occasion we’ve been there the service has been terrible. Without a doubt the worst customer service of any Wetherspoons we’ve ever been in.

Worst Wetherspoons we?ve ever been to. Waited 30 mins for food, for it to come out stone cold and completely wrong. The pub itself was freezing, with staff walking in and out with the door wide open and customers wearing their coats. Not sure why so many delays considering the amount of staff walking about being immature and apparently it takes 4 staff to hang one bauble and clean 3 glasses off a table. Overall terrible. Got a refund but no apology- avoid at all costs. It shouldn?t be open ? went to McDonald?s across the road and got food within 5 mins (nice and warm) :)

Really nice visit to the new moor farm. Good pub food, good drinks, cheap. The Wetherspoons experience I expected. Yes the staff are a little unsure on what to click on the tills but it?s new, that?s to be expected. All the staff were lovely! Will be back as I only live up the road

Was in Newcastle visiting family over the weekend, only ate in New Moor Farm, Sunday night and this morning for breakfast.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, shout out to young James who was very enthusiastic as also other members of staff, we felt they were let down by the poor kitchen management or lack of!
We think the menu has far to many options for the staff to cope with without the proper training, saying that, whoever was cooking breakfast didn't even know how to turn an egg over and had to ask a member of front of house, eggs came out like a frisbee , beans cold, toast half done !!! That is ridiculous. Come on Wetherspoons get your act together, you do have good staff, if they're willing to learn, train them properly.

You know what you get with a Spoons, no more no less so you?re rarely disappointed. It?ll be nice if they change the misted double glazed unit?s & put some curtains up & a few more pictures. Great choice of drinks as usual

Waited 40 minutes for food! And then to be told no hash browns so get given chips, and then I ordered chicken bites they had none of them either so had to get alternative. Food still didn?t come so I asked where it was they said 5-10 mins. 10 mins and no food so I went to front and asked for a refund which still hasn?t hit my bank . My boyfriend?s glass smelt of that wet dog smell. Won?t be returning here

Shocking experience - not what we expect from Weatherspoons - food took 40 minutes to arrive - after being told there was no chicken strips, no coconut rice and no straws. Cutlery was dirty and took ages to get clean replacement. Staff x 3 went out of the firedoor leaving it wide open next to our table to vape . We got up to close it then had to get back up to let them back in.
Dessert took another 35 minutes - hot apple crumble stone cold with only one half scoop of ice cream instead of two scoops -
We go to weatherspoons every week in Cramlington, Blyth and Wallsend and occasionally in Castleford. Never had anything but good experiences in those.

Worst wetherspoons I've everbeen into. Waited over 30 minutes for a cold breakfast with overdone eggs. Asked for replacement eggs so they came back with new overdone cold eggs. Coffee machine was going off and even tho there was a queue nobody came to reset them. Won't be back

What a shambles of an experience, not that busy and waited 50mins, when fish and chips was bought to the table it was solid batter and no fish in it. Over priced and not even mediocre

Went in mid afternoon. Ordered from app. Drinks came within 5 minutes and food within 15 minutes. Friendly service. Spacious. Only negative was it was a little chilly, but it was a very cold and dam outside on the day.

Tried for the first time last Saturday. Food was nice and staff were lovely and even though it was very busy we only had to wait 20 minutes for our food and when it arrived it was red hot. Definitely going back

First time we've been in since the revamp , not much has changed apart from a lick of paint and a new carpet. Food was 30min wait then when it arrived both burgers were luke warm, chips were ok but went cold fast as the bars heating needed a boost! Got back to the car and blasted the heating to get warm... not a place to relax, more eat n run.
Won't be rushing to return.
