The food just tasted disgusting. It is just badly made. If you are wanting decent Italian food do not go here. Plus the staff are really rude. Complete disappointment.

Waiters attitude was inadequate and they ignored us even though we were waiting for them to come over to our table with the card machine. We waited about 15 minutes for them to finally come over with the card machine. Never again.

First time trying this restaurant, had heard both good and bad about it, but to be perfectly honest we had a lovely meal today, staff were very friendly and helpful, quick service with a smile.Only reason for the 4 stars was I ordered chicken Kiev, the chicken was delicious but missing a valuable ingredient (garlic), which totally makes the dish, otherwise vert tasty, my husband went for a fillet steak and said it tasted divine, too marks for that. We definitely will return to enjoy the food again Thank you to the staff especially Liam who was a star.

We had an absolutely amazing meal at Sambuca?s in Cramlington ? hands down the best service we?ve ever had. Simo was our waiter and if he isn?t already head waiter, he absolutely should be.
He was so attentive, recommended a pasta dish to me with a few tweaks, and it turned out to be the most beautiful pasta I?ve had in the five years I?ve been vegetarian.
He was brilliant with the kids too ? even whisked them off to choose their desserts ? and made the whole evening feel relaxed and special. Simo was all-round fantastic, and we will 100% be back.

Had lunch today. Potato skins stone cold and definitely not cooked today tasted awful. You now can't have lasagna on the lunchtime special. My friend and I got pasta and asked for no chilli in one and no cherry tomatoes it arrived cold again with lots of chilli in one which was inedible and the other also cold just stodgy and tasteless. To be fair they did not charge for the pasta with too much chilli but won't be returning.

Recently attended. We were a walk in and absolutely no problems having a table.
Restaurant was busy ish but comfortable, certainly not too busy where you couldn't hear yourself think.
Few birthdays on the night and everyone encouraged to participate which i think is a nice touch.
Food is excellent especially the king prawn starter and the sea bass main course. Then finished with a delightful biscoff sundae.
Meal for two (3 course) with two cocktails each and beer for less than £90 is excellent value and food was excellent

We went to sambucas quayside last week, then came here today, was like going from a rolls Royce to a Robin reliant, food was terrible, and we paid more , never coming back ? used to be cheap and cheerful, not crap and expensive

Enjoyed a wonderful meal with my family today. The staff were friendly and very attentive. It was accessible and the atmosphere was cheerful. The food was delicious and we didn't have to wait long. It was also nice and clean . Will definately visit again.

First time at a Sambuca. Stood waiting to be seated for about 10 minutes even though not that busy. Mainly due to staff members just standing chatting at bar. If they had just acknowledged we were waiting and that someone would be with us shortly, that would have been fine. They could see us looking at them but just carried on chatting. They were at the bar chatting for most of the hour we were there. Very noisy music as well. Definately not a relaxing place to have a meal.The food was lovely, very tasty. However, I won't be back as customer service is terrible.
