Use Next a lot, never had an issue before however looked to returning a pair of shoes I had just bought for my 13 month old daughter. They were £30 and really poor quality, scuffing after the first time she wore them. I was served by the most rude store assistant I have ever dealt with. She said they wouldn't give me a refund or exchange because ?they didn?t sell me them like that? and ?it?s life - it happens? I was completely shocked at her rude attitude and unwillingness to help.
I questioned about the quality and how there has to be protection somewhere. After only buying them a few days before. She looked and spoke to me like I was a nuisance and was above the situation. I am pretty disgusted by the whole thing and it?s put me off using this branch. She was completely unprofessional and lacked in everything required for her role. Will be taking it further due to how rude and disrespectful she was. Very disappointed

If I could give 0 stars I would, 1 of the staff didn?t get her name blonde disgusting stubborn attitude should definitely not have a job there. Other staff at check out didn?t have a clue what she was talking about . Never seen staff like it such a disgrace. 13/10/2023 - 14:00

Having been Next customer ls for many many years we have never ever experienced service like we have today. The member of staff ABBY who actually felt the need to spell her name out to my wife was beyond rude - her dreadful abrasive manner and attitude falls way below that expected from Next. She clearly needs educating in how NOT to speak to people and will guarantee we are unlikely to either recommend or shop in Next Cramlingnton again.

17/11 1610hrs, Waiting to get served in the home department. 2 members of staff serviing, 1 handling click and collect. Younger girl behind the counter, no acknowledge from her whilst she was attending to another minor matter. We were totally ignored whilst waiting infront of the till, in the end, after 10 minutes walked out. Terrible customer service, and people wht wht sales are down and online shopping is on the rise.

There was a query over pricing on a suit we had delivered to the Cramlington outlet. The Assistant Manager and Shop Assistant could not have been more helpful. Their competent professional approach coupled with a strong need to rectify the error make them a real asset to the store.Well done.

Had placed a click & collect order. Thought it would be quicker than physically shopping myself as I was pushed for time. I was wrong! Queue at the collection point of about 10 customers, one harassed sales agent on the till. Other assistants were about but no sense of urgency to answer extra support requests needed by the harassed sales assistant. Some really annoying alarm going off constantly. Took at least 10 mins to be served. Overall a poor shopping experience. The rest of the store was quiet at the time I was there, no idea what the other staff were doing. Once eventually served by another sales agent, to top it off she couldn't even get my name right & couldn't have cared less. No apology when I corrected her.

My closest and favourite branch of Next. Mostly use it to return items bought online as the car park is right outside and can always find a parking space. Staff are lovely and always helpful.
