When is hsbc in cramlington opening it's been closed for a long time..there does not seem to be any work being done .

Can't get through on the telephone to sort out problems. Waited 40 minutes then got cut off. Called the next day waited 25 minutes on the phone then got cut off. Now on 3rd day waited 20 minutes and still waiting so thought I would add a review while waiting. I have 3 accounts 2 being business so now I will simply change banks. They closed my local branch too so now have to travel a long way to get to a branch. Not good enough HSBC as some of us don't have time for this.

Waiting in a que for 40 minutes is not fun. Trying to pay cash and cheques in for 3 weeks with huge ques. Why not just open till 4.30pm?? Absolute joke. I'm speaking on behalf of the other 10 people behind and Infront of me also.

It's improved over the last year or so, mainly because the paying-in machines have been upgraded. Cash deposits now show instantly. The staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. One star off because the opening hours still aren't great, even for a bank, and it's just too small really. They need a bigger outlet. There's often three different queues going on in a 15ft square space.

Twice I've been in this branch to pay cash in. I've then been removed from queue by a member of staff to use paying in machine asked if he could show me how to use it only to be abandoned and told another member of staff would show me! Never happened. Ended up loosing my space in the queue!!

Only two counter in branch had three but they took one away and put a cheque and a separate cash paying in machine in place which they are always braking down like there cash machine bad service since travelling from blyth to Cramlington as they shut the blyth branch and others

Actually Cramlington a nice little friendly branch , one cash dispenser but other banks machines in the shopping precinct ... three counters usually always staffed... was in Sunderland City Centre last week, with only two counters but loads of machines and it was a nightmare... please keep Cramlington people friendly - EDIT my original comment .......spoke to soon...two weeks on they have reduced the number of cashiers to two and where the other cashier desk used to be we now have two machines ... queue out the door and two employees walking the queue asking if they can help anyone.... humans v machines, give me humans they can do more things than machines.... four star now reduce to one.. HSBC do you not talk to your customers and what their needs are.
