Came yesterday with my daughter she was very distressed but really wanted her ears pierced and Debbie was absolutely amazing with her, very patient and kind, made her feel aware it was her choice and made her feel comfortable. She is so happy she continued.

Don?t get me wrong, the woman was lovely and so friendly, however I went in and got 2 cartilage piercings, over the first week of having it pierced swelled up to over double the size of my other ear and ended up covering over my lower helix, ended up with multiple trips to the doctors and an extremely painful removal in the a&e. I?d recommend going to a proper piercing shop where they use needles rather than the gun.

If I could give this place a 0 star I would , it?d twice now my ears have been infected or irritated from this place when I was abit younger I got my firsts done the got infected so I took them out and got them repierced at a professionally done they were perfectly fine , a couple of days ago I got my cartilage done it is now burning very swollen up and hurts so much I?m very tempted to take it out at it?s really irritating me my whole ear and behind it is burning up I went back yesterday to ask them if it?s okay they said to get some spray to spray on it it?s still burning up and I?m taking it out soon I?m not risking my ear being infected or worse I don?t want to damage my cartilage permanently. They costed me £36 for 1 cartilage . CLAIRES IM COMING TOMORROW TO GET MY MONEY BACK

Do your research before using themThey made a complete mess of my sons ear.He ended up in the walk in due to an infection and massive amounts of swellingThey used a piercing gun for a Cartlidge piercing ( Helix) which is highly frowned upon and not recommended in the industry due to causing potential trauma to the ear and increased infection risks and then capped it off with a stud with butterfly back , again which is totally unsuitable for this type of piercing , it should be a Labret stud with flat back and a high grade material such as titanium or surgical steel.Even the doctor commented on them using the incorrect piercing and that a needle should be used for this type of piercing.

The manager and the staff are lovely, grandaughter(7) loves this place, always recieved a warm welcome.Offers always pointed out by staff and the new claires rewards is great, I've had lots of £5 vouchers and a free £10 on my birthday. Click and collect is very efficient and you receive a discount instore when you collect, I've never paid full price for anything yet. Store is clean, it's small but like an alladdins cave of treasures.

I love it here, only wish the shop was a bit bigger as its hard to shop especially when busy and with a pushchair. But always lovely, friendly staff and a great selection of pretty things.
