Very friendly and informative visit. I have been using boots for a number of years now for my eye health. I wouldn't go anywhere else, value for money and no hard selling trying to push high value frames or add ons. Excellent!

I was pleasantly surprised yesterday in your store, all the staff were very kind, Paul was very patient in explaining each type of lens to me in my understanding and helping me choose my frames. Now I have to see the final product. I recommend for professionalism and patience.

Walked in to boots opticians Cramlington Manor Walks on 7/7/25. Made an eye test appointment for 9/7/25. Really simple quick and efficient all done in minutes..
Received call from store on 8/7/25 to tell me to come to my appointment 15mins early to discuss other eye test options. Apparently new equipment that can detect various issues.
When I made my original appointment in store none of this was mentioned. I presumed I'd booked a standard eye test and my booking was confirmed. Seems I was incorrect. The other eye test options are more expensive so the call I received wasn't a courtesy call as they suggested but in fact a call to sell a more expensive option.
Seems to me that a store with such a great history and reputation can't be open, honest and upfront regarding there selling tactics. It's all about the MONEY for them as it seems to be everywhere else.I'll take my business to a company that I expect to be underhanded and I won't be disappointed.

After all issues with Specsavers to fail proved my accessibility BSL interpreter. The Boots proved one for my appointment no problem.
Staff there so friendly and comedy each other while I do my appointment feel nice see staff little chill enjoy joke same time do their job just perfect. I high recommend do your eye check with them! No rush and feel pressure to make chase a glasses they always happy to help and feel welcome. Compare Spacsavers!

Has my eyes tested today 22.4.25 and was so impressed by the excellent service from the eye test to choosing the glasses. The staff are so efficient and friendly and they certainly know what they are doing. I would definitely recommend them I've been to other opticians and weren't impressed but I will certainly be going back when I need my eye tested in future.
