Excellent, well stocked up on lunch food and coffees to go, there are picnic benches outside. The have ready to eat sandwiches, pies and pastries, cakes and scones, juice. Also, there is a shop selling essentials, gourmet food and a post office. We usually purchase scones and take them on a picnic walk by the river in coldstream

We bought a couple of cream scones and a piece of bakewell tart on Sunday and paid £7.50. When we got home, we were disappointed with the poor quality of the scones. They were baked one or two days ago, extremely dry and hard . It's so wrong to sell that sort of quality for that price. I normally don't write bad comments, but I was furious and disappointed.

We are quite local, but this was the first time stopping here, we got a coffee each and a bacon roll to takeaway, the coffee wasn't even drinkable, both were thrown in the bin, the bacon was microwaved in front of us and was handled with bare hands, very expensive for such poor quality, needless to say, we won't be back.

Sadly the commute from Bristol stops me going every week .. otherwise I would. Friendly staff and the food, pies, and cakes are worth a diversion ?

Yeah so they dont make the pies etc , they are all from Foremans butchers.Was charged £6.20 for a chilli pie and a coffee , pure greed ! Coffee was tasteless machine swill , will never be back.

After cycling hundreds of miles on an ultra distance race on the May bank hol weekend, I stumbled on this place. Excellent sandwiches and snacks and, most importantly, friendly staff. They even let me re-charge my flat devices whilst I ate. Recommended

Ladies that work in there are super friendly and helpful. Most of there stuff is baked by the ladies and made on premises which in itself is awesome. They do some really delicious rolls, quiches, pies, cakes, traybakes. In the fridge section there is meals already made up such as macaroni cheese, stovies. Fresh, clean. They also have a section with candles, plaques, little nitty bits. I especially love the gonks ? lovely little village shop. Definitely worth the stop!

Outrageously expensive. Just 2 miles more, Coldstream has Co op, post office, so many shops ! Dont throw your money away !,
