“Called in on a dreary day after enjoying the beautiful moorland scenery. The food from the bar bait menu was delicious. The service was friendly and efficient. We have been visiting Blanchland for most of our lives and the Lord Crewe Arms has always provided the perfect place to enjoy a drink and something to eat, especially Sunday Lunch! One issue which doesn't sit well is the service charge added to the bill. We would rather we were left to make a decision on when and how much we tip a server. It does state on the receipt that we can ask for it to be removed, but who wants that discussion!”

“Called in for tea as I'd forgot to put my slow cooker on this morning. Ordered Scampi with mushy peas and chips. My other half had the burger. I must say we enjoyed our meal very much and that's the best scampi & chips I've ever had, mushy peas were amazing. They have Beaver Town Neck Oil on tap with fancy glasses to serve. You won't be disappointed as with previous management. Will definitely be back! The staff are lovely..Thankyou”
