    Refused to take card payment for two drinks claiming that the card fees were too expensive - nonsense in 2025, they’re a cost of doing business and a percentage regardless of the total amount. From Errington Coffee House

Formerly the Errington Arms, Errington Coffee house is now a wonderful place to enjoy homebaked cakes and pies in a warm comfortable environment, dog friendly and with open fires. The owners previously of stable coffee shop Bolam, have transformed this into a welcoming place to meet and relax. Less than 50ft from the Hadrians wall footpath it makes an ideal place to stop on your long walk. We have a room available on Air bnb.
