Corbridge is brilliant, but I would say that because I live here! Not so good on a Saturday afternoon though! Too many day trippers on the lash!

Pretty village, interesting shops and plenty of good cafes. Gets very busy. Parking available on street and near the river.

A great village, a lovely friendly community, shopping is unique as there are no multiples involved and the businesses take pride in the place. For the unsuspecting visiting motorists. The wardens are pedants. Park within the prescribed bays or else and remember unlike other parts of the County it?s not a Disc parking village. There?s free parking across the river but the pedants operate there too.

I may be biased as this is my home town but I think it has a lot to offer for both tourists and residents. There's many nice little cafés, several decent pubs, convenient local shops for most of your needs and an abundance of glorious countryside to amble about. It has children's play parks, an excellent health centre, is commutable distance from Newcastle and boasts its own Roman settlement. And now it even has a microbrewery!
