Absolutely excellent dinner here. 3 courses for us and 2 children. Wide range of food eaten and all was gorgeous! Atmosphere was a buzzing countey pub that was rather up market inside. Pleanty of space outside for sitting and having a drink and dining also. Definitely recommend

Second visit, a few years apart, visiting family in the area. Great service from very friendly staff. Food was good, had the Sunday beef roast. Would certainly visit again when in the area and recommend.

One of our locals. Friendly staff, good food and large selection of drinks, child and animal friendly. Also includes entertainment and a village focal point. Rooms are available above and it's a fun, calm atmosphere.

we had a stop off here for lunch on our motorbikes beautiful place staff were amazing with us and even gave us the time for a chat and a laugh food was spot on we had the daily special wraps that came with salad chips and home made coleslaw chicken goujons were also home made price was very good to will deffo return

Food was amazing. I came by with the family for lunch. Staff very friendly and attentive.
I knocked my beer over at one point, but they poured me a new one free of charge. Very kind of you!

Popped in after taking our tent down for lunch before heading home,we went as walk in see if had tables,some where reserved,we still got a nice table in restraunt area,when asked a window was closed as it got a bit cold and rainy outside.Food was great thick pieces of meat and hot,Large Cumberland Ring (very apt for the Pubs name)only issue we found was the swede/turnip was creamed and like baby food.but all other veg was spot on...we will call again.

This is a lovely pub with outdoor seating and an interesting interior. Beer is under £5, mains are under £20.
