“There is a real castle but the pub and accommodation is next to it. Probably the story about the castle already being there when Richard Lionheart was around and a Muslim princess living there is a bit of a hoax but a good story nevertheless. Dinner is very good, rooms nice with the little patio.Walkability: It is too far to walk from the Wall but they have a great pick-up service!”

“We were a party of 14 ladies, & we went for my 50th birthday bash The house was immaculate, clean & stunning. Each bedroom had a different feel. All rooms were light & airy. The kitchen was beautifully done full modern with everything you could think of. The hot tub was brilliant even in the cold. We had a wonderful time & will definetly book again.”
