We came here for lunch after visiting Hadrian's Wall. It was a lovely place with good food! They had gluten free bread and a gluten free carrot cake which was amazing! I'm not celeac, but enjoyed the cake immensely

I planned my morning hiking stop to have breakfast at House of Meg and they didn?t disappoint! The food was amazing, one of the best breakfast I have had in years! I would definitely recommend a stop here, I will be back at some point because the cakes looked amazing but I didn?t get the chance to sample one.

Quite possibly one of the best breakfast rolls I?ve had, coffee was excellent and the service was so welcoming and friendly. I stopped in half way though my Steel Rigg to Lanercost Hadrians wall walk, will be skipping the rest of the way. What a lovely cafe. 100% worth a visit.

We did a short walk along the wall and ended here. We had tea and tray bake and enjoyed it very much. Next time we'll stop for lunch as the food looked good.
