Normally we have a lovely time at Pier Red and the food is delicious. Today we went to this beau venue and I arrived before my husband - ordered a bottle of Prosecco which we do whenever we visit. The table to the side of us had some food delivered to their table. We went to order and were informed only cakes available. We were not informed on arrival that food would be stopped at a certain time nor any notice on the door. If we had of known no food then we would have gone elsewhere and spent our money.. I understand that Joanne you had a meeting on site but you need to respect your customers too. Diane

Had a late lunch with the family. Rang and asked if they had space for 8 of us. Walked in 10 mins later and walked out after having some delicious food. Kids had soft baguettes and adults ordered some slates as shown in the picture. Lovely atmosphere great service from the two women serving. Will defo be going back. They even do Tapas nights which I think we will attend next time.

Went to this coffee shops on many occasions and always very good, until today. Went in and sat down. Another 3 groups arrived and were obviously known to the host, as he continually chated to one man the whole time he was making coffee. We were ignored. No-one came to take our order although the other 3 tables were served. We had been sitting for almost 20 minutes and decided to leave. I did advise the man serving that if he was more observant he would not be losing custom and why we were leaving. No apology. Will never go back.

We stopped off in Berwick and decided to have a quick spot of lunch. Wow, what a find , everything was amazing and everyone was extremely friendly. The vegetarian quiche was utterly incredible. Great place to visit with it's beautiful chandelier adding a touch of opulence. Home baking too. Recommended.

This is one of the most relaxed venues you can find in the Borders. Most places standards drop. But not here. Their chocolate and morello brownies are to die for... We also love their soups. Everything is made from scratch and never mass produced. Around once or twice a month, they also have a supper menu which you can sign up for. Great place.

Super little restaurant & bar just down from the railway station in the way into the town. Friendly fun atmosphere everyone made to feel very welcome by Joanne proprietor. Fab spot to meet with family & friends pre Christmas drinks.

A colleague and I visited here for a lunch before a meeting. Lovely ambience, food was good, staff were helpful and attentive, so can throughly recommend you paying a visit. All in all a place worth noting for future visits
