Excellent customer care. Had occassion to go back with an "all bells & whistles" wrist watch that I could not get set up to do what I wanted it to do. Way above my competence level!! Staff did it for me. Great service with a smile. Many Thanks.

I returned Tu clothing and the woman Lynn was extremely hostile and said I couldn't return items, then changed her mind when a male customer said I could it's detailed on the website.Throughout the whole process there was steam coming from her.Nasty woman she shouldn't work there if she is unwilling to do her job.

Purchased Zelda, a 12 Rated game and was asked for my identification because of think 25, although in my uniform and clearly above the age of ?12?. Think 25 shouldn?t be used unless the person is unsure the buyer isn?t over the age requirement for the item in question, as I work in a shop I understand how the system works and It was heavily misused in this circumstance which is quite unacceptable.

Absolutely disgusting customer service, we are well aware of the social distance rules and we follow them accordingly but for the staff to make you feel uneasy and like your doing wrong just for being in the shop, complained to the manager and she was not even interested in what we had to say. This is the only shop I have been in through this pandemic and been treated this way....discusting will shop elsewhere in the future

I came here to return an item (swap it for a more expensive model) and was treated with contempt. The item was brand new and still sealed. And it was checked multiple times, then opened and re-checked by the manager. The whole checking process took over 30 minutes for this "standard procedure".And I was left cooling my heels with no explanation as to the delay.

Really helpful staff and did an amazing job fixing a Christmas gift disaster when my local Argos store was unhelpful. Many thanks top team!

Used to be cheapest shop around, but these days just another store. Also, easy returns used to be their strong point, but now seems to depend on who you speak to.
Also getting a little tired of visiting the shop because they were the cheapest, only to find they were cheapest because they didn't have any!

Welcome to the future of retail- vacuous, cold, empty and devoid of any kind of feeling or character. The recent store renovations has stripped this place bare and it feels like walking into a store that is in the advanced stages of closing down. Sadly Argos has fallen into this trap of taking cash tills away from the shop floor and merging them with the collection desk, reducing the amount of staffable positions and supplementing this by having "floor walkers" who in the end have to do most of the work for people anyway as they've replaced the catalogues with ridiculously small touch screens that the aging population have no desire to use! Oh, they'll give you the company line about how the general public are changing the way they purchase items... They aren't. They're being forced to by a board of directors desperate to increase their own profits while reducing front line staff to a minimum... Calling it "progress" or a shift in demographics". If you want to see how dystopian the future of retail is, pay Argos a visit. And then don't accept it. Demand better.
