The loveliest little cafe! The staff were so friendly and service was great, delicious soup and drinks. We can't wait to come back next time we are on the island ?

We?ve been to this little place a couple of times now, and each time, the staff have been really friendly and happy. We got seated straight away, we do tend to get on the island early , obviously plan ahead with the tide times. We?ve had a sausage and bacon bun each time, and they are lovely. Thick bacon and a decent sausage. The dairy free latte is fantastic too. It?s the best cafe on the island.

You can get a good coffee here. They do cake and light bites. Its fairly basic seating but it all works and being only one of a handful of cafes on Lindisfarne it can easily get slammed and staff can get a bit frazzled. The take away is on the post office side. Its quite ok

Great big fresh portions; lovely stotty sandwiches, well stuffed baked potatoes and delicious home made cakes. Also top class coffee from a roaster in Berwick. The post office sells all the cakes etc to go so we took sausage rolls, pork pie, brownie, border tart. Uniformly excellent, best quality on the Island IMO and really decent value

More than just a post office. Popped in for takeaway coffee to catch the tide. Coffee very nice, staff super friendly, cakes looked delicious. Well with a visit.

Turned up today and they were just closing - thought that 2pm on a busy Saturday was an odd time to close, the causeway had only been safe to cross for an hour and a 25 mins. When I went in, the man in the cafe frowned at me asking "what do you want?", wouldn't tell me of any other cafes in the area when I asked nicely. There was no need for the attitude - I'd had a nice time in there a couple of times before, perhaps there are different owners now.

I travelled from Torquay Devon to Manchester. I paid over £100 extra as I was under the impression in 1st class you got food and drink included. It was abysmal. Their idea of food was a coffee a small flap Jack and a cheap packet of crisps, that cost me over £100 extra. Dreadful service, total utter rip off and waste of money. Don?t travel distance with Great Western Railways, worst 6 hours of my life.

Having only previously visited on a day when we could use the outdoor area it was great to find that there is a dog friendly room inside the cafe. We both had the Holy Island full breakfast, and full we certainly were afterwards. The component parts were excellent, especially the bacon and sausage - really tasty and obviously good quality. Look forward to a return visit.

Delicious locally sourced food and coffee. Highly recommend the Bamburgh banger and spicy tomato toasties! Lovely family run business with very friendly staff and fast service. Don't forget to pop into the attached takeaway shop for ice creams!

Extremely disappointed to have bought a caramel shortbread from the counter in the Post Office Shop (which were strangely covered up with tin foil even though I asked for cakes to be uncovered so I could choose what I wanted). Got the bag home (many miles away) to discover its is covered in nuts?!? I have never known caramel shortbread to have nuts on it - and have never before had to buy something without seeing it because the person serving wouldn?t uncover it. Had I seen it had nuts on it I wouldn?t have bought it - so I?ve unnecessarily wasted my money on a not inexpensive cake. It also doesn?t bode well for anyone with a severe nut allergy.

Stopped here after doing to loop walk around the island. After a few hours of walking, it's a great place to stop and refresh. It's not cheap (but no where is nowadays). The food is good quality. My husband had the crab ? sandwich (he said it was great, tasted really fresh), and I had the bacon, crambery, and brie sandwich. Very nice.
