We stopped at The Salmon Inn, Belford while camping nearby on a rainy day ? and it was the good choice! Our table enjoyed a great mix of pub classics: tasty gammon, a juicy burger, crispy fish & chips, and comforting sausage & mash. Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavour.
The kids (and grown-ups!) loved the darts and pool tables, which kept us all entertained while the rain poured outside. It?s a proper friendly local with a welcoming atmosphere.
Bonus tip ? there?s a lovely little playground just 2 minutes up the road, perfect for letting the kids burn off some energy after lunch or dinner. Highly recommend if you?re in the area!

Best burgers ? ?
Highly recommend the Mexican smash burger..! Homemade chips and coleslaw! Staff and locals couldn't have been more welcoming. Dog friendly. Definitely on my place's to return list 10/10??????

Very friendly , lovely fresh home cooked food , if on a budget like us you won?t be disappointed. Don?t pay through the nose for fancy food at silly tourist prices, head to the salmon - a great British pub .

Disappointing! We came in today and felt unwelcome and as if it was an inconvenience us being there. We had been driving for hours and would have been nice to feel welcomed.

We had a cracking meal at The Salmon Inn last night. Burgers and the pie were amazing and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. Would very happily recommend a visit if you're in the area.

We had the Haggis Burger, fries and coleslaw, and was one of the best burgers I have had really tasty well presented and good value, will definitely be going back .
