The waiting times have gone right down hill the past few months waiting 50mins for a chicken basket and chips isn?t acceptable even after asking two members of staff not once was I told there was a wait for food very busy but only about 3 staff in witness a few people come in then leave as met my dirty tables and mess all over the floor it?s looking like they are only concentrating on the drinkers now which is a shame

It's a wetherspoon. So cheap food etc etc. if you've been to one then you know what to expect.
Can't beat it for a cheap meal. The quality of what my wife and I had was great. Id have it again no problem.

Popped in for breakfast, whilst my car was getting sorted. Staff were very good, the breakfast was super for the price.

Overall, very satisfied. It's a Wetherspoon so I kinda know what to expect (always or usually an excellent experience) Staff quite friendly and professional. I spent about an hour in the afternoon (weekday) and it was quite busy. This is a gorgeous building, very spacious inside and plenty of seats out back. If ya passing through Bedlington and fancy a respite this cozy corner pub will refresh you. Only drank and didn't order food but I'd expect it to be adequate for a JDs

It's a really good pub. Always relaxed atmosphere when I have been there. Beers are always good and well kept.
£2.59 for a pint of Guinness!!! What's not to like?
Breakfast is always nice and superb value.
You can't go wrong in the red lion.
