As we were in Bamburgh and time was getting on, we popped into the Copper Kettle for our lunch. We ordered the homemade coliflower soup ? ? and cheese ? scones with a cappuccino and tea. Good fast service ? the soup was pipping hot ? and the cheese ? scones were warm. Staff welcoming, friendly, and polite.

Fabulous tea room with home made cakes in the village of Bamburgh. Outside space for dogs in good weather.

we sat out in the backyard in the winter sunshine staff were concerned that we would be cold but it was lovely, they invited some other brave souls to come inside and bring their dogs inside but they too were hardy outdoor types. Food was excellent I managed not to take any of the delicious cakes on display, well worth a visit.

The perfect place to settle in after a blustery walk. Welcomed by friendly folks and a big display of cakes and slices. We all had the soup which was hardy, tasty, and warming.Vegetarian options: Soup of the day is veggie.A number of veggie sandwiches, toasties, and jacket potatoes.

I never usually leave reviews but I want to warn people that there is a very rude staff member who works here, believe the negative reviews.

This was an absolute rip off!! To charge £8.50 for two takeaway drinks! It?s taking advantage. I could have gone to a top hotel and sat in for less. Take care when visiting this place. They don?t advertise their take away price.

We always come here when in the area. Nice seated area that is dog friendly at the back. Scones are great, hot chocolate a hit with kids. Service is almost always slow and pleasant without being warm.

Quaint property which is now fully dog friendly, enjoyed soup and sandwiches next to fire. Great service, fully enjoyed our visit.

Such a lovely tearoom with great staff. My son and I are gluten/dairy free and the selection of food available to us was great. Dog friendly too. I recommend booking as it can get busy. We will be back!

Planned to come for an afternoon birthday treat for my mum after our beach walk today. Despite the Facebook page advertising opening until 4pm on 2nd/3rd/4th January, we arrived before 3pm and were turned away by an unfriendly member of staff who couldn't care less. Very annoying when we had made plans accordingly. I understand things change but the staff member could have at least pretended to apologise for any inconvenience... We went to The Castle Inn instead who were a million times more friendly and welcoming.

Here with 2 big dogs, it was busy but they found room. Food was good quality and service was good. The menu is fairly limited and I would have loved some chips or even crisps with my steak sandwich. They don?t mind the big dogs though so it?s all good.

I'd read some mixed reviews about the Copper Kettle but we gave it a try anyway. What a cracking little tea room. We were greeted warmly and seated straight away despite it being busy. Proper tea and beautiful cakes and scones. Service was prompt and friendly with reasonable prices as well. Definitely worth a visit if you are
