Called in for some lunch and wow, crab sandwich was delicious and the Bamburgh Banger sandwich was excellent.
Staff in the tea rooms were friendly and welcoming and although it was really busy took the time to have a conversation with us.
Minimal waiting time for food to arrive but would have been prepared to wait.

Honestly the copper kettle should do merchandise, yes its that good, I actually considered stealing a place mat (don't do that!) to remember the couple of visits we made in a week. We were staying locally so it became the local stop either before or after a trip out.
During the week we tried breakfast, a cream tea, lunch, a cream tea and dinner, a cream team. Joking! Breakfast was a cream tea I do admit, lunch was a lovely ploughmans and no dinner as it closes at 5pm but the afternoon tea was a cream tea :-)
Lovely team of people, comfortable surroundings, super dog friendly and great food and drinks. The coffee is probably the best in the village, the tea I do not have a comparison for but I happily finished the pot and the selection of great tasting food on offer is second to none in the area.
If you are in Bamburgh, do not delay, get yourself down there but leave the placemats be!
