Be careful filling up here! I put £17 in two 5l Jerry cans. Asked for a receipt. Was charged £27 on card. Showed the guy behind the till that it was £17. I was refunded £10 cash without a word spoken...... First time in 18 years of driving I've been overcharged for fuel. Keep an eye! If I payed 17 in cash, was he going to ask me for another 10 quid? No of course not. Check price before paying.

Patio gas refill nearly twice the price of elsewhere and not exactly service with a smile.
Shell response talking about fuel prices is of zero relevance.....

Lived in Ashington for 40 years. I've seen this petrol station change hands shell to spar to what it is today. Even back in the day when they had a car wash which is now a small greggs.
The station is very well kept. Everything looks clean.
The shop is a small area. But it does have your normal items you get at all petrol stations.

Since this shell garage has being taken over it has become a terrible place for me to fuel my car with v power diesl, very rarely to they stock it, so i have to look elswere, the staff do not even know the difference between diesle and petrol the worst shell garage i visit in the uk

Terrible fuel filled up there with diesel £90 and must of had water in there tanks cause it got into my tank and I had to cancel a hotel booked cause car broke down new filter etc loss was £290 pound total to sort out. Will not go back there

Fuel price reduced a lot and less compare to near by forecourt. Ashighton Shell station is quite clean compare to past 5 years.Service is good and quality also really good.

Rip off prices, news say petrol as high as 1.73 per litre. Shell charging 179.9, even though other Ashington garages are between 5 and 10p per litre less.
