When I picked up my caravan the electric plug looked a bit wonky, on the way home the indicators stopped working ( very dangerous) then I uncoupled it on the drive and the handbrake didn't work, it rolled backwards towards my garage and I was lucky enough to be able to pull it sideways to avoid an accident.Next time I came to use it the handbrake was sized on.I then got involved in an internal argument between the sales and service departments who clearly do. not get on.I don't believe that the van was serviced or checked before I picked it up.A number of other things then went wrong and I didn't trust them to fix so had them done by a third party.I recently sold the van and will be very happy never to have to deal with these people again.

Bought a caravan from here just over a year ago and just had it serviced and it?s got between 40-90% of damp all around the floor, from a leak I reported when I first bought the caravan? north east caravans just stopped responding to me? even though I reported the pump during the warranty. definitely wouldn?t recommend

Had my van serviced here.Wont be back.Lots of service points not done.Owner and service manager have a very aggressive manner when confronted. Cost £430, pity I had to give them 1star. Yes I was Listening but you expected me to bring our van back which is a 20 mile round trip, for you to rectify what you should have done in the first place, we have been loyal customers to Northeast Caravans buying our current van from you 9 years ago and had it serviced by you every year, so why would we all of a sudden try to harm you reputation, I would have said we are loyal customers helping your company flourish. Anyway you saw the pictures of service issues that hadn't been done that I forwarded to you, but I stead of dealing with the problem courtiously you decided to get angry and aggressive over the phone. It's a pity you don't show your customers a little respect. But lesson learned, having the van serviced again at great expense to us to see what other service points haven't been done. See where we go after that.

Had my 1st habitation service at N E caravans, and couldn't have been better. Malcombe took on board my questions with good communication skills, which were obviously passed to the workshop, on collection everything was explained on what they'd found and rectified.After the terrible after sales service I experienced from my selling dealer near Darlington, it was reassuring to find that the industry has good guys and girls after all.??

Just bought my caravan from NE caravans and the staff were all wonderful. Very friendly, patient , supportive and understanding, especially Stuart, who talked me through everything, and even drove with me round the block me as I was nervous about towing the bigger van on my own for the first time.Fantastic team ..thank you all.
