Very frustrating that the bank is only open 9 till 3 so anyone who works or a young person at school can't go into the bank, my daughter tried opening an account online and was told to take her ID into her local branch which will be Ashington but she can't as she's at school she's 16 and she works on a Saturday so can't get then either, so now we'll have to trapse through to the metro center instead , which is not convenient.

Found staff at this Ashington branch so laid back and un helpful. it wasn't the same as a few years ago more friendly and helpful these lot seems to be drinking coffee all day

There was a bit of a wait (after the Bank Holiday) but I was dealt with expertly and achieved all that I wanted. It's worth going to the help desk first if you haven't got a straightforward cash transaction.

I left a review about the Branch at the Haymarket last week, well today we went to this Branch, what a difference. There was a delay seeing one of the girls at the counter, they did apologise as it was a technical glitch with a computer. Anyway the attitude was miles better and there was no issues sorting out such a simple problem(change of address). Take a leaf out of this branch Haymarket and learn how to deal with customer service.

Excellent Bank, friendly and down to earth staff, always someone on hand to help and advise and have an appointment with. Highly recommend.
