I was kicked out of school in late 2021 i was only in the school for a couple weeks in which i had a nose piercing, we have regular uniform checks where you get your ears checked and correct uniform checked. Not once did they see my nose piercing. My mum told the school and they refused to call her even after i said when they pulled me u have to ring my mum, i was kept in the ?bridge? which is before isolation for about 2.5/3 hours and had to get my friend to text my mam. The school refused to speak to my mam inside and forced her to talk in the car park, i constantly had fights with this girl like not arguments fights and the teachers did not notice. The teachers pulled my friend for her skirt material because she is curvier than other girls while they have the SAME skirt and she stopped eating properly it is absolutely disgusting we were only 11-12 and they?re doing this its actually disgusting they wouldn?t help me get into a new school for 7ish months or more until i got into dukes at about 4 weeks left of year 7 its actually disgusting. I would rather have no education than get it here, the head teacher or senior supervisor or something REFUSED to answer my mams emails. They cannot handle their students miss perry who apparently isn?t there anymore told my friend who i fell out with at the time to stay away from me and i didn?t have any other friends to hang about with. Another student touched me up. Absolutely horrible i?d rather live in a bin.

I haven?t been here but, I hear very bad stuff about this school. Teachers sound pretty rude and many get bullied here. Don?t recommend sending your child here.

They don't really understand people with problems like ADHD, depression, which I struggle with they expect us to put a 5 star review if not we get excluded, yet we should have "freedom of speech" it feels like the school doesn't really care about our grades and academic education just their reputation.

This school is terrible. I wouldnt reccomend this school to anyone. First of all they care so much about reviews. If youre a student that goes there and you give a bad review they take you out of class tell you to delete it or they will exclude you. They over power you way too much. They take away your freedom and freedom of speech when really we are meant to be listening to others. Their expectations are WAY to high for most kids to achieve. They take away your individuality by having a really strict dress code. No certain hair colours or piecings as its "distracting" or "not sutible". And i know some companies wont allow some things but having somethig like purple or red hair with two small earings cant hurt, surely. Also its quite odd, when we dye our hair a non natural hair colour we get into big trouble but a teacher a few weeks ago dyed her hair purple. Also adding on to the strict uniform part. We arent allowed to wear trainers ans our year managers go crazy on school shoes but one of the year managers was walking around school with trainers on for about a week but we cant wear them for a day?good excuse or not? Sorry what? This is just being a hypocrite When it comes to school meals you dont have much options and if you have had a detention you get the scraps. Especially when they brought in the c3 ans c4. Its like theyre starving you as when you get there, there isnt anything to eat. What they say is mainly lies as they want a good reputation and most courses you take arent what they say they would be or they would be way harder than expected. Eg visual communications. They say it will be like a designing on computers subject. Its more about geography and business and you arent really doing a lot of designing. Some teachers take things way too far and abuse the C system. Some teacher you cant rely on as if you got to them about bullying they will tell you to make an incident report and they'll sort it out but they never do. Its the same with mental health. I asked to see a school nurse and i had it for a while. Im meant to have weekly sessions but i havent had one in 2 weeks. And i really need the help. Ive had to go to other options to try and help.

This is not epic. There was this one time where my cousins friends birds mothers dogs sister put a bad review of the school and they were then forced to change it to 5 stars or they'd be excluded. Just so you kids know the blank 5 star reviews are not 'real' and only used to upper the overall rating, however intellectuals (which you surprisingly get here) have managed to get their bad reviews on. No disrespect to the teachers as lots of them are actually good but some of the school rules are a bit ridiculous, and I completely agree that this school is 'like a gulag.' The higher ups here actually must be trying to be Vladmir Putin because of the amount of censorship over what we can say about the school. Furthermore, the lunch is pretty fr1cking!1!1 bad and we're made to wait for the majority of our 40 minute lunchtime, say about 25 minutes, even if we just want a sandwich. The policys on phones, hair dye, and makeup amongst other things seem pretty pointless, and thats coming from someone not particularly affected by those rules. The main problem I have with them is that the school chose to focus on these rather than more important issues such as bullying, or the gosh darn lunch. While this school has few good points, if you're thinking of coming here: get out while you still can. Sincerely, Josef

This school is sooooooooo bad like just look at the Ofsted review everything is inadequate. We get threatened to be excluded if we write a bad review and the school is below national average. Lots of teachers are grumpy all the time and hate their job. Ofsted themselves said the teachers/teaching is inadequate. According to what I've heard some teachers have hit students and broken the law in other ways but the heads are so desperate that they don't report it and allow the teachers to continue what they are doing. Anyone that speaks about it gets an after school detention or exclusion because the school don't want to risk getting found out because i assure you the school would be shut down.
