I was a cyclist on an overnight stop, they had secure storage for my bike, room was superb, bar was busy downstairs. I only had cereal and fruit for breakfast but there was a great choice. A very friendly owner sat with me and explained the history, was good to know about the history of an old historical building. Thank you again for making my short stay an enjoyable one, all the best for the future.

Staff went the extra mile to accommodate us at short notice when our car broke down. Our rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable and the staff ensured that we were happy and had everything that we needed. Thank you!

Stayed here last night. Room was a good size, comfortable and very clean. Good shower too. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good.

Came to Amble for a long weekend and stayed here and were very impressed with the place.
Lovely rooms, great breakfast and excellent service from the host and her girls.
Easy to recommend and would stay again should we venture up here again.

Was visiting the area for the afternoon and came across this lovely little place. As we had 3 big dogs with us we were limited to where we could go to eat. We were met with a warm, friendly welcome. The staff were very accommodating. Our food was freshly cooked to order and tasted amazing! My mum is a vegetarian and was advised that the homemade quiche would come with fries as the chips were cooked in beef dripping. I had a burger which was also homemade and the chips were fab! My dad had a big breakfast which he said was also really tasty! Will try to pop in again sometime. :)

I liked the fact that the staff were willing to bring our drinks through to the restaurant. My partner thought the food was exceptional & well presented. The Scottish breakfast was fantastic&we got 8 slices of fried bread for 2 people! I would urge anybody going to amble to try this place.

Just had one of the nicest Sunday lunches. Beef was amazing. Fresh veg. Proper gravy that came out in a massive gravy boat. The stuffing was super tasty. We have a caravan at Amble Links and I think we've found a new favourite place to eat. Staff were working their socks off but made time to talk to us. Will be back. Wish I'd had room for a pudding. Great prices too.

Room was very clean, but very small and basic. Bed very comfy.
Most staff are friendly and attentive - they worked hard to make our stay enjoyable. Young member of staff not quite as attentive and tended to continuously be using their mobile . . . (perhaps a little more training on customer care?). View from window from room at back was not as expected (eg the Marina was not in view to the degree we?d hoped (see photo). The building lacks curb appeal at the front. However, all that said we were satisfied for the price . . .
