This is a fab little place we found on our visit to Northumberland the service was amazing we got greeted with a complimentary glass of fizz as it was my birthday and a huge dog biscuit for our pooch the food was gorgeous and fresh I really couldn?t recommend this place more we?ll definitely be travelling back across from Yorkshire for a meal at this place again we loved it !

We had a fantastic dining experience at Jaspers Bistro. Although our table wasn't quite ready, our hostess more than made up for the wait with her warm welcome and detailed rundown of the menu and specials.
But the real star of the show was the food - every dish was exceptional! The fried squid starter was crispy perfection, and the garlic and chilli prawns were spicy and flavorful. For mains, the sea bass and crab risotto specials were both incredibly tasty and satisfying. And the desserts? The doughnuts and chocolate sundae were amazing.
Huge props to our server, who was the epitome of professionalism. He was super knowledgeable about the menu, attentive without being overbearing, and made sure we had everything we needed.
Overall, Jaspers Bistro truly lives up to its 5-star reputation. From the friendly staff to the exceptional food, this place is a must-visit for seafood lovers. Can't wait to come back!

Five stars do not do this wonderful place justice! What an absolute joy! I had the four ways salmon paired with a dram of the Lagg whisky (genius dish) and the battered monkfish (don't think I'll try a better fish and chips anywhere).
My fiancée had the fish pie, which truly deserves the plaudits it receives (another masterpiece).
The service was exceptional. We were warmly greeted and looked after the whole evening and made to feel very special.

Absolutely stunning find with utterly delicious food cooked to perfection!
A warm welcome on arrival by friendly and knowledgeable staff member who took time explaining all the dishes.
Moules mariniere, fish pie & seafood risotto. Every mouthful a new experience, an explosion of wonderful tastes. We have never tasted such amazing seafood.
A truly exceptional experience the food was to die for!
Sadly we had no room for desert.
More than an hours journey from home, but an experience we would not wish to have missed.
Thank you to the amazing chef & the member of staff who served us.
Our first visit & most certainly not our last!

So glad we did as Prosecco on arrival, absolutely fantastic seafood, so fresh and tasty. Very cosy and great atmosphere and best dog treats I have ever seen
Can understand why it is rated so highly, nice to chat with the owner who is also the chef after our meal, very personal service
We will definitely be returning, excellent service and value

Just had an amazing long lunch. The food was amazing, and we couldn't fault the service. A really great small restaurant, but you do have to book. Well worth visiting.
