Smaller breakfast was by far the best I?ve had in ages.
Black pudding had a great taste, and the local sausages were sublime.
The tea came in clear pots, and NO teabags!
The staff were very friendly and helpful, not over bearing.
Will definitely come again

Amazing food, the coffee is delicious and the staff are an absolute delight, really lovely and welcoming ? picked up 2 bags of their coffee to make and enjoy at home!

What a great find. Breakfast was excellent and very generous. Coffee was first class and I meant to buy some before I left.
Managed to lose my wallet that morning which would have been a disaster on the first morning of our holiday. Fortunately, someone found it in the loo of the coffee shop and handed it in. The smart people at 1911 called me and let me know. Many many thanks.

A cute cafe on the main road in Amble. The paninis were delicious, I think the highlight was the red cabbage pickles and also the coleslaw to go with it. Coffee was also yummy. I would?ve loved to try the scones but I was too full! Would definitely recommend!
