This is only my 2nd time using the salon. Caitlyn, is awesome.I have MS and other health conditions and Caitlyn is very supportive and understanding for the challenges I have to face.Totally recommend but please don't all take the lovely Caitlyn!!!

This hair salon is just incredible! Must visit if you?re not sure who to go to! I?m extremely picky!!I have never been happy with my hair as there is not enough of it! I had a Restyle for extreme hair loss, hair loss advice and help with products. Nigel is just Wow! He was absolutely spot on. I?m out of area but I will only use this salon in future. He knows exactly what to do!Can?t say enough about all staff here it feels like a family.Don?t worry about eating before as it serves food and drinks from the Running Fox!I?m deaf and disabled and they accommodated all my needs!Thank you to all.Ps my hair has never been in this good condition ever!! I visited "Alnwick Studio" today, 22/9/22. Ryls washed /conditioned my long hair, then blow dried it beautifully. I am delighted with the finish. He most willingly helped my husband lift me in my wheelchair on arrival and when leaving. A very well presented and welcoming salon with a fabulous ambience. Never been to a hairdresser?s like this one before - from the gorgeous shoulder massage when I first got in, to my head massage when getting my hair washed by Sophie, to my gorgeous hair colour and cut by Lucy. I was visiting Alnwick for the weekend and decided to fit in a haircut. I'm so glad I popped into Alnwick Studio Hairdressing, they squeezed me in at the last minute and Liv my stylist was super friendly and very skilled, she showed me how to style my hair myself and gave me some sample products to try. I was impressed with the big airy salon and the fact it wasn't too busy. It was my first time in the salon and had booked it weeks ago so felt quite excited but fairly anxious. I wasn't sure if I wanted a trim and a fringe put in or a total restyle, I wanted the expertise of the stylist to help me. So when I met the stylist I was extremely disappointed to the point I was so close to walking out. I explained I wasn't sure what I wanted but I was given no encouragement or advice as to what to do. I was told that she didn't know me and she didn't know my hair but whatever I decided I wanted she would do. I said to her well don't you want to feel my hair for its condition thickness versatility and maybe check out my hairline? She then very briefly did this. I showed her 3 or 4 pics of different styles and yet again she said you must decide not me. I know this but I truly expected her to give me advice as to the styles, whether my age, my shaped face, my texture of hair whether it would suit one style better than the other but I got nothing from her at all. At this point I wanted to walk but I had travelled from Berwick to have this cut. She said have your hair washed and then let me know what you want. I've never experienced this lack of interest. I've had my hair cut for 15 Yr in Gloucester where I use to live and the experience and the knowledge knocked socks off what I experienced today. I felt I was a nuisance. I did come away with a style I liked but it was literally a trim as my hair is bobbed and I had a fringe put in. I can't say I will be back and I wouldn't recommend it to friends I have had far better experiences elsewhere.Service: Hairstyling

I think more care needs to be taken to make sure clients enjoy their experience. From washing hair thoroughly, to acknowledging your client when they arrive if your running late. Some clients find it a daunting experience going to a Salon, staff could make it a pleasant experience and go that extra mile.
