Visited yesterday, one of the worst customer experiences ever. Arrived after booking, blanked by numerous staff members. Finally got seated, ordered food/drinks. Chicken & cheese toastie was basically a thick slice of bread, a few slices of processed chicken topped with cheese. £11.95?absolute joke! My partner ordered the afternoon tea. She had to ask 3 times for a plate. We asked for hers to be boxed up so we could leave, we just sorted it out for ourselves. Thankfully we didn?t have to pay a service charge for this shambles. Staff were horrific, food was worse. 100% wouldn?t recommend!

Plenty of choice for brunch and a delicious iced coffee. The deli and cakes looked beautifully homemade and the waitresses were lovely and welcoming. We will definitely be back

My mam & her friend just left after the most amazing special 70th birthday treat,afternoon tea for two ,mam is recovering after a stroke and she just rang on journey home and it been along time since I heard her so happy with the ooohs & aaargghh how great this place isstaff ,cafe,food etc,she knows the area from living that way 50 years ago as recalled in her day it was the local services supply shop ,We have been to other ones but this was her first running fox outing.They are both stuffed and brought the pie home for later.It is hard to get gifts as peope get older and this treat was an idea that today had even us smiling on phone as they were rhyming off what it was like,what they had and for that alone it was priceless to here her so happy ,well done longhougton 10/10 with stars on xxx

Incredible homemade sourdough, delicious big breakfast, and the staff were absolutely lovely. They were also super patient and helpful navigating my food allergies. A really wonderful spot I?m so happy we found.

went to the new Fox at Kirkhale. Thats all six done now sad to see Silbottle close. Kirkhale was packed but our table was ready and waiting. Both had the afternoon tea. Have to say Kirkhale is now the best of the Foxes they looked after us and our dog superbly. Even though it was packed there was no slow down in service and our waitress was lovely. The food was as ever super, Moss e joyed his day put as well WELL DON E KIRKHALE
