Had my 18th birthday party here, lovely area and great for summer and spring but will never forget the unbelievable service here.We accidentally left 2 of my birthday presents and a balloon pump at the venue which was happily taken care of and was brought to reception, my dad and I realised the day after and called immediately and was told they were waiting at reception carefully, we went in to grab back the things we forgot and was told they had no idea where it was and to come back another time, I came back again a couple days after and were extremely suspicious with me and rude and never even looked for my items and only started to when i was there, were really friendly and helpful until i told them what I was looking for then suddenly looked really guilty and wouldn't make eye contact with me anymore. They told me to leave my name and number for a 2ND time (because they didn't bother to call or save my number the first time) They said to come in again another day which i did, they said they could not find the items even though we were told they were at reception but suddenly weren't there anymore, I was extremely disappointed as these were important presents to me and I left my number AGAIN to give to the manager (who also did not call us). After months of waiting and asking, I proceeded to ask one of the bartenders around my age that admitted that someone probably stole it or gave it to someone and they don't want to admit it to me which seemed plausible as they were leading us on and lying to us for months. Please don't trust this place with your belongings and don't trust the staff either as they clearly like to take things.

FAULTY TOWERSHad booked to stay for 2 nights but left after a night with no sleep as noise was so bad we could not sleepHad booked afternoon tea which without anyone asking when we wanted it was in our room when we arrivedCream was yellow almost turned to butter it was sitting so longBefore breakfast I asked at reception was music on again tonight she confirmed it was I said look we will not be staying tonight as we came here for a peaceful weekend as advertised on website and we're unable to relax or get any sleep till after midnight.I said the afternoon tea was in our room when we arrived and she agreed it should not have been. Was then told look I can't sort out your complaint im new here and I asked to speak to someone who can was told there not available.I asked when they would be was told I don't know I was in shock and said this is really unacceptable was then told manager was dealing with a bereavement. I said I'm in business too and have had to deal with the loss of a child but even through that someone was there to deal with the problems.I was shouted at well this is a family business and we put family first unlike you again I was in shock.I asked her if she could stop shouting the reply was im deaf in 1 ear I shout ok.I asked for the bill and said I was going to get my bags and would be checking out .They had the cheek to charge me for afternoon tea which wasn't fit for consumption and charge me twice for my evening meal. When me and partner arrived to check out and pay bill I said I've been charged twice for meal and afternoon tea was not satisfactory can you sort out new bill while I leave our bags to the car.My partner remained at reception desk as I was about to go out the door I was yelled at you go out through that door im calling the police ,there was other customers there and I never felt so humiliated in my life.I said at any stage did I say I'm not paying my bill she said no but my manager said if you put a foot outside hotel im to call the police again in total shock I was beginning to.think it was a hidden camera reality show trying to do a wind upI asked to get bill sorted so I could just get out of the place was then told I requested afternoon tea to be in room on arrival I said I did not and was called a liar someone phoned me and asked me and I said they did not they asked me to confirm my arrival that was allPaid my bill and was glad to get out of place and away from receptionistFaulty Towers definitely wouldn't have a look in lol

Have visited twice, couldn?t recommend more for couples. Dinner great and so is breakfast. 2nd time we went we got a room without a bath and were upgraded to the room we wanted for a discount. Went for a run in the morning and reception were more than happy to look after my key whilst mrs jones was sleeping.

My wife and I were 27 years married this year, we wanted to get away for a couple of days to somewhere special and leave the real world behind us for a few days.Me & Mrs Jones offers a quirky, yet stylish experience. It is geared more for romantic, adult, getaways than a family holiday. The hotel cleverly takes innuendo to the edge without going over the line of bad taste. The booking was made very easily, and the member of staff I delt with over the telephone was very professional. She had a very welcoming, friendly manner and everything was flawlessly organised on arrival. Our room was very clean with a large, comfortable, super king-size bed, large television and fresh bed linen. It had a boudoir feeling that was fun and very different to the usual beige colour pallet used in hotel rooms. This is not a criticism, but a suggestion. The only thing missing in the room was a mini fridge and perhaps this is something the management could please consider.Be aware when booking that there are different levels of rooms and not all rooms offer baths as standard. With that said the shower in our room was out of this world. It was large, the water pressure was amazing and the temperature of the shower penetrated right into every muscle. We ate in the hotel restaurant, the food was also amazing. If you visit Me & Mrs Jones be sure to try their mushroom starter which is like something out of MasterChef. The restaurant and bar staff were all very friendly and attentive. All the staff at the hotel look as if they are happy, and enjoy working there. They all had a relaxed friendly demeanour, this was uniform across the board from the cleaners to the front of house. Their respectful, yet relaxed approach really added to our experience of the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and everything was done with a friendly smile. In summary, both my wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Me & Mrs Jones. The hotel offered a terrific guest experience that included great food, a quirky interior and soft furnishings. My wife and I would love to stay again at Me & Mrs Jones and we can highly recommend this hotel as one of Ireland's best locations for couples looking for a romantic getaway. This review is our way to thank the Me & Mrs Jones team for facilitating a wonderful stay and playing their part in helping my wife and I in making wonderful memories.

Unfortunately a poor experience in the restaurant of Me & Mrs Jones last night, after many previously good experiences. 50 minutes at the table before any food arrived and then it was not what I had ordered. Staff struggling to cope, but they did their best to compensate. Have noted in the reviews that others have had similar experiences.

We had to wait almost an hour for our food which was mediocre at best. Terrible service. Nobody asked us if we wanted any more drinks so we didn't have any more. We had to ask for the desert menu but after seeing the poor choice we decided we wouldn't have anything from it. We ordered from one person, chased it up with another person, someone else brought it, it was just shambles. Had to ask for a missing portion of chips!! We wanted to get out of there fast so went up to pay and were largely ignored until someone came from behind the bar to take our payment only for someone else to process it.We could have, and should have left without paying.

It is a beautiful restaurant with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Without a shadow of a doubt, the best restaurant on the North Coast. The food is exquisite and caters well to allergies. Everything was cooked to perfection and the uttermost level of cleanliness. The staff are sensational, with a great level of attention, but not too much to be annoying. This restaurant deserves more attention and press. I'll certainly be back several more times

Nice little boutique hotel in Portstewart in Northern Ireland. Close to the promenade and water.Great service, very nice rooms, and a nice bar and restaurant with good food. It's definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. The bar staff was particularly helpful and attentive during our visit, making our stay even more enjoyable. We will be back!

We have been going to this fabulous Restaurant for 4 years and the quality of the food is always exquisite. The quality and standard never slips below ?fabulous?. The staff are polite and knowledgable about the Menu and wines. Tonight we had fun with Ross and Jack. Thank you both for a wonderful evening. Only one thing??. Please give us spoons AND forks for dessert. Thank you x
