Rang up to book a table for a Tuesday (didn?t know they closed on a Tuesday) for a birthday. Girl took my booking told me not to park on street as there is traffic wardens. We turn up for our table and the place was closed.

Absolutely horrendous experience with male waiter (English accent - I didn't wait to find out his name) after we were seated. This man's behaviour was obnoxious - rude, unmannerly, dismissive (I could go on.) Unbelievable that a 'waiter' whose job it is to be polite (at the very least) thinks he can treat customers this way. We politely explained to a lady who appeared to be the manageress, that we would not be ordering food after the way we were treated when seated. We took our custom to Amici restaurant instead, and had a lovely experience there, with friendly, welcoming, polite and professional staff. I would prefer not to award this restaurant any stars, for obvious reasons. However, I had to select one, in order to post my review.

Was in today for lunch and I can not rate this place high enough. From the minute we walked in, the staff couldn?t have been any friendlier/helpful. The food was absolutely out of this world. Seasoned to perfection. The salmon starter was bursting with flavour. The steak was amongst the best I?ve ever eaten. Normally I never take a dessert but I am so glad I did. The chocolate pudding had the right consistency of a hard outer shell and the gooey middle. Paired with their ice cream, every spoonful was indulgent . The quality of food for the price would be hard to beat anywhere in the north coast. 5 ??

Very disappointing, the dishes were just not up to what I would expect from somewhere like this. Many less expensive restaurants in the area provide much better quality of food. I did complain but was told no one else had complained before, then i read on line some complaining about exactly the same dish i had. No wonder the restaurant was only half full on a busy friday night.

Had a fabulous Sunday dinner. Had the brown sugar pork, it was a large chop with delicious sauce and potatoes. The husband had the sirloin, and it was very tender. Espresso Martini was great and had to try a dessert. Decided on the Biscoff Cheesecake, yummy.

A last minute change of venue decision as a family led 6 of us to 1894 for a wonderful evening and dinner. Stephanie and June were attentive and very welcoming to us all. The food was outstanding and accompanied by delicious wines. One of the party highly recommends their Bloody Mary's ?! Stunning views and Stephanie acted as our photographer for a memento. Thank you all for making it such a special occasion.

Early bird menu is really good value for money. Three courses for £30. Great choice on the menu and all the food we had was excellent.
I thought the service was excellent in the way that help was there when you needed in a no nonsense sort of way but nobody was in your face all the time.
I would definitely recommend

We had a such a lovely evening at the Christmas party night . The staff went above and beyond especially the manager - Stephanie who deserves a special mention .
The food is absolutely outstanding , great atmosphere and decor ,as well as fantastic entertainment provided.
Thank you - we will definitely be back soon .

The view was stunning. We went for dinner at sunset and it was beautiful. There is an outdoor smoking area on a balcony and it was beautiful. The food was very nice and good vegetarian options! The only thing is we found a hair in one meal and manager questioned if it was in of ours but then gave another free meal. Overall not much staff interaction but the food was very nice and posh dining experience.

Just home from a beautiful birthday dinner. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. We had the wine pairing and I highly recommend it. Everything was perfect. This was our 4th time eating here and there will be many more to come. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Our first time trying this restaurant.
Excellent food and nice efficient staff. Probably best meal we have had in a long time. Well done to the chefs. Food was hot too and nice fresh salad leaves with starter !! Thoroughly recommend

We visited for the first time last night. Views were stunning over our beautiful strand beach. Food was excellent value for money. Staff were amazing especially the girl who welcomed us and showed us to our table. She is a great asset to the restaurant. We were there for the early bird menu and will definitely visit again. We would recommend that you visit this restaurant and sample the delicious food.

Simply good food, in spacious surroundings with stunning sea views, and no pressure about the table being needed for another sitting.
