at the beginning of our golf trip, my friends would say every day, ?it will keep getting better?.. we ended our trip at the Dunluce Lodge ? Northern Islands gem!

Stopped by the Dunluce Lodge for lunch and a quick tour of this recently opened property and all it has to offer. The setting is absolutely stunning and the lodge is top notch, even if you?re not into golfing.
Lunch was simple but elegant. For main I had the seared cod with wholegrain mustard and crayfish butter sauce. Very delicate and rich.
For dessert I went with the spiced pear and pistachio tart, fresh egg custard and local clotted cream, which was very tasty. I would have added a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top but there?s always next time.
Service was great, especially for a hotel that has just opened, but they know what they?re doing.

Lunch booking.
Staff were very welcoming. Lovely aspect looking out on to the golf course from the restaurant.
I understand this is a new venture, so please see this as feedback as you grow.
- wall around the back of the property prevents a view of the beautiful golf course and sea whilst in the restaurant.
- bacon missing from burgers. Asked for no pickles, still came with them.
- beer batter uses a local Portrush beer, which unfortunately was not on tap.
- never refilled water
- did not ask if any condiments were needed
The hotel is gated and there were two cars in the party. The second car had to park at an angle to get off the road, quite dangerous.
One of our party said it was the best fish and chips they?d ever had. Hope it all goes well for the future.

Our group was accused of stealing a pillow and has not been issued an apology or refund. I am forced to leave a review as I have emailed and called with 2 different receptionists (Emma and Holly) who told me this would be handled, and also left this in the feedback form the hotel emailed me after our stay, with no response from guest services. It has been ten days since the receptionists told me this was handled and multiple since I returned the feedback form.
We spent £1,540 for two nights here. It is absolutely absurd for hotel staff to accuse a guest of robbing a pillow the second housekeeping misplaces it. This shows clear issues in Dunluce Lodge, and ruined an amazing weekend as we were left to wonder what we possibly did to deserve such treatment. Wishing them luck with ironing these out as they continue to open, but next time I will skip the drive to Portrush and stay at one of the 45 already well established and proven competent five-star properties in Ireland.

Could not recommend Dunluce Lodge highly enough! Understated luxury with such an eye for detail. Rooms are spacious with very tasteful decor. En-suite superb. Food beautiful using locally sourced ingredients. All the staff went above & beyond to make our stay exceptional. Such an asset to the North Coast.

It was a really relaxing experience. Service was impeccable and the location, for someone who spends a lot of time on the Antrim coast, was great. Special mention to Gerard who went out of his way to be helpful.... highly recommended...

Travelled from belfast today to go for lunch. Closed to general public this weekend only open for guests yet nothing mentions that on website. Not good impression especially for a customer who would of booked to stay. Shouldn't be promoted in local media that Is open from last week and not be open fully.

This hotel is exemplary in its approach to luxury. You are greeted with a hot towel and a smile . The rooms are beautiful and well proportioned. Stephen in the restaurant is star in the making . All the staff deserve a mention as they go beyond expectations in helping the guests .

Fabulous stay with a group of friends at this hotel. The service, food and stunning location made this trip extra special. It has a cozy atmosphere and the friendly staff make you feel right at home. It has a beautiful spa and only a short walk to the White Rocks beach. I would 100% recommend a stay at Dunluce Lodge!
