I was in Nationwide today and was served by a lovely lady called Grace. She was so kind and helpful. She then brought me to the atm and showed me how to correctly use it . Lovely pleasant lady.

If you enjoy queues ... You'll enjoy visiting Nationwide Portadown. Today, I spent AGES (along with others) standing in a very static queue (no seating) whilst Nationwide counter staff spent AGES dealing with each customer. As I was told some time ago, Nationwide now only offers a 'No appointment necessary ' approach for customers .... which basically means ... turn up .. find yourself a place in a very static queue and N/W staff will see you (hopefully) sometime before the close of day ! .. Unlike (not so long ago) when appointments couldbe made with knowledgeable staff to discuss & sign up for various investment options ... now it's one size fits all ... Turn up , do your business at the counter.. like it or lump it .. Well , I've decided to 'lump' it and move off to another place where where I can make an appointment to discuss investment matters face to face .... so it's Goodbye to Nationwide .... Thank Goodness !

Rang up today to portadown the man could not have been more friendly and helpful on the phone. I got through to the department elsewhere that I needed to speak to straight away. The lady was just as helpful and I got all 3 things sorted straight away. Excellent service.

I have been with Nationwide in Portadown coming up on 12 Years now..The staff have always greeted me with a smile when you go in and when you walk up to the counter window, and always say Goodbye, Take Care etc when leaving and they've always helped me with information i need when enquirying/asking about a new account, card or loan they have to offer.As they are a Building Society, i would definitely rate them far higher than a normal Bank

Put my card in outside for withdrawal of £500. Machines were getting serviced inside and no money came out. 7 mins later I was at the counter and told to come back the next day to make a claim, nobody was interested in sorting it...returned to portadown to see another lady. The original woman was conveniently off that day. Told it would be a few days to sort it. Came back to portadown for 3rd time and told it could be up to 9days. 15 days later, I'm into an overdraft and nobody has contacted me. Really really shabbily treated.

Good bank but this is now the like 4th time my cards been declined/blocked for no reason whats so ever. I've now to get up earlier than Id of liked tomorrow to go down and sort it out. Reason being because when I ring them and they ask for my pass key that I use every single day of my life for my internet banking... it says I've typed the wrong code in so you know I'm switching after this. Can't buy anything on Amazon without this happening.

Unfriendly staff, hardly ever willing to help. When I come to explain a situation they know better and tell me nonsense, but most importantly do not listen. Incompitent to carry out simple tasks. Poor
