The food here is great and really worth eating. The atmosphere has a quirky old / modern style about it. The table and chairs are comfortable to sit at.
I went with the BBQ burger, which was fantastic. The sauce was a little too sweet for my liking. Which was a shame, but I think that is what the kids like these days.
Wifey had the Guinness Pie, which again was sweet and didn't really have much of a Guinness taste. However I cannot say it wasn't good. I liked it as much as wifey did, and we would highly recommend.
The squitch had the Caesar salad. It was also a worthy dish. It looked very appetising.
All in all, the food and service was great and I would come here again.
Sadly only one small issue. Which was just a minor lack of attention. For whatever reason the waitress pulled a glass from the dishwasher? without checking. On the glass foot, was the finished butt of a cigarette. It had a really strong pungent smell and was slightly off putting.
Regardless the staff are very friendly and so personable. Overall a great eat and experience.

Went here on new year's eve for a few drinks and enjoyed it. No room inside so set outside and the heating was very good, pints very good.

NYE, no room inside, so had a drink at the seating area outside which is quite good. The heating outside works well and the pints are good.

Naomh is by far the best bar maid I have ever seen and trust me I have been to a lot of bars and seen a lot of bar tenders and bar maids! Absolutely the toppopest of the top quality service I have ever had and really makes you feel at home when you?re at joe Mac?s. Definitely recommend if you love top quality service and the best of food and drinks. And not to take any spotlight away from the star but I must mention Jodie as she has to be also one of the best bar maids I have ever met, definitely the best group of staff I have ever met in an establishment! Jodie makes the best brain haemorrhage shots you have ever tasted and the is absolutely no doubt about that. One of the most friendliest of people and great craic to say the very very least. If you attempt this absolutely amazing bar and restaurant these two are definitely the bar maids you need to be looking out for as they the most respected people I have ever had the privilege of meeting. (By the best costumers ever)
