Atm, subway, barista coffee, car wash, air and hoover and of course its a filling station. There is good size parking.Staff are friendly.Car wash is paid by time which is very handy. There are other filling stations nearby, but this is the only one that is 24hours.”

11 Crossgar Rd“These guys know how to deliver a fuel-based experience. From the moment you drive your car into their forecourt, you know what's about to happen, and it's electrifying*. From the (generally) level concrete that welcomes your car tyres, to the upright steel stantions which support the partially covering roof (excellent for keeping rain off you without overly compromising the aeration of the fuelling area- no overpowering miasma or as I call it, petrol-funk), as soon as you arrive, one overarching thought permeates your being: I am here to put fuel into my vehicle.Boy, do they deliver. They've got diesel. They've got petrol. They've got that more expensive petrol that's basically the same as normal petrol but is more expensive. Actually I'm not sure if they've got that, because I never use it because I'm not so rich yet that I can afford to spend extra money on stuff that my car doesn't need.Once you have filled up your car with fuel, you can proceed to the shop and customer gathering area, which is conveniently located within short walking distance of the pumps. Whoever designed this space had a strong understanding of how their customers want to buy fuel.As you walk towards the doors, you will observe that they have opportunities for you to buy firewood and coal too, if you happen to be driving a train from the late 19th century. If you are fond of eating food, then they have got you covered, too. It's like fuel for your car, but for your body. (Note: unlike the petrol, you have to buy it first before putting it in. That was confusing me my first few visits, but I've got the hang of it now, and so has my well-fed family.)Overall, a five star experience. I could have given it four star, because there used to be a petrol called four star back in the 80s, but that would have been a confusing pun for all those millennials reading this, so I won't.*not sure if they do electricity”

“Complained about the slow pumps. Sales assistant agreed completely and said if it was them they'd be getting petrol elsewhere ? always leave with a smile. Great staff”
“Good enough petrol station with a very good selection of products. Plenty of parking unlike some other garages where it is difficult to get in and out when they are busy. Friendly helpful staff is also a bonus.”
“Busy filling station and convenience store. Excellent, well stocked shop selling a wide range of food, drink, confectionery and newspapers. Hot and cold food and drinks are available to take away.”
