I had the full Irish breakfast washed down with a cappuccino. Service was friendly but the waitress didn't include the soda bread on my plate. This oversight was quickly remedied once I figured out what was missing. The restaurant is very homely but lacks any view through the windows.

My wife and I went for some breakfast last Saturday, however once we walked in the door the fumes from the stoves was pretty bad, bad enough for us to leave, don't know how you would expect people to sit in that, I noticed when going back to my car at the rear of the building Large extraction fans going for the kitchen, i'd say they are pulling the fumes from the stoves and disturbing the air flow up the stoves flue. It's something they badly need to sort.

Very nice. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the place.
There's parking. Didn't seem so at first, but there's a gate just to the side that leads into the parking space

Took mum for here 88th birthday.
Afternoon Tea was beautiful. All little cakes made on site. Mini pavlova tasted like those my granny made, all cakes were delicate and so beautifully decorated. Scones like clouds and sandwiches blissful.

My friend and I attended the thatch at Ballydougan today and are regular attendees. We both had the festive fries however we were grossly disappointed. The meal was dry, stoggy and lacked taste. It was also freezing to the extent we needed to keep our coats on. Very very disappointing.
