This was back in October ?23 and I Can only talk about the food and JFC it was god awful.Ordered vegan flatbread starter and curry main, but asked if both could come out with mains and female server said yes. Eventually the flatbread was brought out and I said it was meant to come out with the mains, male server told me the mains will be out shortly. took a bite out of it, and after about 15mins I sent it back as the mains clearly weren?t coming.25mins later, everyone?s mains come, including my now 40min old flatbread with the same bite in it, all the toppings amalgamated into the bread after being under the pass lights. Any other self respecting chef would?ve remade it and none of the male servers even noticed, or didn?t care they were bringing out horror movie props on a plateCurry was over spiced, had three logs in it (idk if it was cinnamon or what) and tons of inedible spices - cardamom pods still in its hard casing and about 5 star anises. Why the hell the sauce wasn?t strained before service I have no idea.All three steaks were average heat at best and all agreed they wish they ordered something else. One burger was great, the other ?ehh, alright?.We all gave up and just ate our meals as it was clear this was as good as it was gonna get.Also noted the weird way staff are told to work, doesn?t make sense and lead to a lot of confusion with quite a lot of tables that night, and I?ve heard this before from people but didn?t think it was that bad.It was that bad. It was worse than bad. Not the severs fault they don?t make the rules.Overall looks great inside but shockingly atrocious food. Female server was nice(4**** to you), male servers couldn?t care less

Very friendly staff, clean and tidy hotel, conveniently located to Healy Park though a bit of a walk out of the town. The rooms could do with a refresh though as they are looking a bit dated and tired, mattress wasn't the best either. On the flip side, food in the bar was excellent, the pizzas are brilliant, certainly recommend.

Great parking, friendly staff, good food and great facilities. This hotel has something for everyone.Walkability: Close enough yo the town centre for a spring/summer evening stroll.

We had a gala ball for nearly 300 people and everything was perfect. Service fast and efficient and food was excellent. How they got out that many steaks, cooked just right, boggles the mind. I can barely manage 2

We were here on Saturday for a wedding.From we went in the door till we left the next day everything and everyone was fantastic.All staff were friendly and lovely . The room we stayed in was very comfortable and clean . Hope to return soon.Food & drinks: The food was excellent. We had a wedding meal and breakfast the next morning ,both were delicious.

I stayed here in Oct 23,The hotel & room were clean and nice enough.My room was facing a very noisy road which you could here all night.It took 3 attempts to get a Blackcurrant and soda water correct and when they finally got it right the split it on me and the table.Some of the staff was stood around talking in the middle of the dining room too.The evening meal was very nice however the breakfast was the opposite, well over cooked.When i checked out the receptionist asked me about my stay, when i explained you could clear see there was no interest.The service has put me off staying again so i would look for another hotel next timeRooms: The room was clean and tidy and large enough but the road side of the hotel was extremely noisy

We booked for afternoon tea on Saturday 7th October. On arrival we waited to be seated a member of staff was making there way to us but quickly passed it on to another team member. No eye contact or welcoming approach. We received our glass of prosecco then our soup arrived. This was very small after that a plate arrived each with finger sandwiches on it. I had asked could we get some tea and had to ask again . Two teapots between 4 . We had to wait for a while and no sign of our scones or sweet treats. So I had to go and get attention again from member of staff to ask for tea and rest of our food. It eventually arrived but at this point the service was having an impact on our afternoon experience. I had to go and ask again for more tea. At no point did a staff member come to ask if we needed anything. We sat for 35 mins at the end looking for staff to get bill and see about getting a box to take rest home not that we had much . As quantity of food was minimal. I had to go looking for staff at cashdesk but no-one was about I went out to reception to try and pay but was told they could not take payment so had to return back in at this point I managed to get a member of staff and managed to sort it after going to check with his manager who again made not contact with us at all . Definitely would not recommend as service was terrible.staff very new and young and when a wedding party arrived they seem to move all staff out to assist with this.Was not worth money and big disappointment for the occasion ???

Really great staff, food was fantastic, bed was really comfortable. Room was slightly dated. General Hotel comment, why on earth are hotels still installing baths? They are awkward and dangerous when you are trying to have a shower. Please just install a good quality shower without the bath.

Restaurant service extremely poor. Went there on Tuesday, 8th August for an evening meal with my family. Despite having booked earlier in the day, apparently no record which should have been an alarm in itself. It took over 2 hrs 30 mins to obtain two courses. Staff consistently disappeared and elusive. The only prompt attention was when the bill was forthcoming. The food was basic and when we complained about the service, we were made to feel it was our fault that only three staff were working. Certainly gone downhill, as this has been somewhere we have attended many times over the years but it will be a long time before we go back again.
