Pleased to say much improved now toulet tissues situation sorted. 5 star now and thanks for fixing problem shortly after my review. For several months now this Spar has failed terribly in the toilet facilities. The cleaners do a good job as best they can but the tissue dispensers are always empty. Seems no one has a key. Consequently the tissues are all over place.

The staff are really great I have great respect for them.Heather at post office is fantastic with my sister in law who has Dementia everyone's always looking out for her,would recommend your shop to everyone

I asked an assistant if the had a certain type of lacto free milk in stock-The blue arla type ,he obviously couldn?t be bothered to check and directed me to a checkout person -older female- she also could not be bothered and just said no ,even though he was not busy and didn?t even listen to what I had to say.Time :8.50amDate : February 4 2024Place: Eurospar Newtownards,Hardford link

I get the impression that owners are not the best people in the world. Staff here are professional, but seem over-worked. There also seems to be a lot of suspicion around shop-lifting and I have been accused of taking items even though I provided a receipt. No apology given. SPAR also have a strange policy of not selling football cards (because of gambling?) yet happily sell tobacco and vapes. They also have a policy of having self-checkout volume turned up full, so if you use a card without appropriate funds it can be embarrassingAgain I think staff here are brilliant - customer service is amazing. But owners clearly are bad to work for. I would avoid working for this company

Had reason to visit the deli this morning there is always a wait at this deli and the staff are as polite as a snail no customer service or smiles I worked in the retailAnd would never treated people like that if you don?t like your work leave pps when I got my food it was cold like the staff won?t be back ?

I have already sent a complaint by email to your head office, but I have not received a reply. My complaint was about a staff member on the deli counter, who has ignored me and had to be reminded by another staff member that there were five people waiting to be served, berated me for not following the arrows correctly ( she was in the wrong), refused to sell me a portion of chicken tikka on its own I.e. in a salad box and refused to sell me a filled ciabatta as they are part baked which I?m well aware of but if heated in store go soggy if not consumed immediately. I am certainly not an idiot and would not eat raw bread, but she refused to let me purchase this. This happened on my last visit, two years after the first three incident?s as I felt very uncomfortable using this Spar. The Counter staff are fine and always pleasant but some (not all) of the deli staff nee some training in customer service.

10.25am Sat 18/2/23Was at the deli counter today and there were two staff chatting and laughing with a customer who they seemed to know!I have no problem waiting but not when it is pure idle chat and wasting my time!Very disappointing!I left without purchasing!

I shop here almost every day for essential items but it is getting harder to actually walk around the shop comfortably- stock stacked everywhere, staff filling shelves everywhere and charity bike rides in the middle!! Its looking tacky and is frustrating to shop here which is a shame.

Always a queue and a great selection of produce. With the hot food counter and Carnduff's butcher in store there is no need to go into the town. However the planners could never have imagined how popular this place would be so car parking can be difficult at times.

Lack of correct displayed price at this Spar store,Price of Items displayed on shelf are often different when you get to the till. Bread display price is the worst in that there are no correct displayed prices at all and they just expect you to guess the price you will be paying.
