The fact that the Post Office is the main focus of extremely negative attention in the news at the present moment merely serves to highlight the complete inefficiency of the service and, incidentally, the outrageous cost of postage. Frequently I am delivered other people?s mail, and not just an occasional one! Often there are 3-4 letters belonging to neighbours! Letters do not arrive daily but seem to be gathered in a bunch for delivery on certain days! Perhaps the postman or woman has other things to do? Today some letters were inside my postbox and some were outside on the door step! I have spoken with neighbours and friends and I?m not alone! It seems to be common practice! I suppose that like the debacle with the sub Postmasters it could take 2 decades for anyone to take note of this comment!

Slow progress, members of the public allowed in without masks, social distancing is awkward with the current queue format, you have to pass everyone on the ramp outside on the way out. It's all just a little to slow and stressful at the moment. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Postman didnt bother posting letter. Posted slip instead. Then must've ran away as I was awake and waiting. Went to collect but apparently royal mail newtownards closes on a Wednesday. Absolutely useless from top to bottom

Website says open until 17:30, Notice in window says open until 17:30. Turn up at 16:45 to find they have already closed! Fantastic service!

The staff here are very friendly...but today they were much TOO friendly. (Seemingly), a colleague decided to go to the front counter to conduct his business and not one but two members of staff decided to indulge him in a gossip lasting 15 min, at least (I left by then). Meanwhile elderly customers left queuing outside!! One member of staff left working!

Good location. Sometimes hard to get parked closed by. Can be quite busy at times but staff usually good at getting the queue down quickly. All staff seem helpful enough and most are friendly.
