My Mum went here on Monday for a new phone she got what she wanted then to be told we no longer set it up for you and do it yourself. My mum wouldn?t have a clue how to do this she was upset with the service in the newtownards store. On Tuesday morning she took the phone to Bangor and she explained what happened and the assistant set the phone up for her. Why didn?t this happen in the newtownards store ? Maybe staff training required ?

Had awful experience trying to get new phone on 27th November. Staff couldn't help in any way I wanted as I'm unable to get my stuff on existing phone transferred to a new phone.sloke to manager of shop and she should never be in a management job at all.i then contacted 02 direct as been with them prpbly 25 years or more.no issues before with contract.and they informed me all 02 shops would assist me in getting phone info etc all transferred.still waiting reply from management about this.then phoned several other 02 shops and they more than happy to assist me and wanting to help me tru the process.wat should of been a 30 minute task lasted about 45 minutes which time I could of had a new phone.data transferred etc. Lot staff in retail shop go far and beyond to help people like im 60 years old and not up to date with all this modern day technology etc.manager of shop should never be in that position.i have reported this to 02 and waiting a reply..as for the points to be givin in 1 to 5 stars pity there wasn't a option for minus ratings to be given for that awful experience I had in that 02 SHOP TODAY.yet now I have a option to go to another 6 plus other 02 stores locally and they Happy to assist me on geten new phone sorted.thank goodness management in them stores customer friendly and knos how to deal with the public.

I've just heard about how my Mother in law was treated yesterday in the O2 branch at the Ards shopping centre and I am appalled. The advisor (Adam I believe) advised that if you don't like O2 you should go somewhere else, which is not a strategy for keeping loyal customers. He then proceeded to call security because he couldn't be bothered to help. One star because I can't give zero.

I used to really like this shop though I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Reason for this is that I went in asking for advice about getting a new phone without contract and the salesman made out I was getting a good deal, but he didn't tell me that he was actually taking me off my sim only and changing me to a contract that was going to cost me over double what I was paying each month for same amount of data plus paying cash for the phone. The only reason I found out was the phone I was sold was faulty and I went back next day and another salesman told me when he looked at my receipt. After he spoke with his manager, he was able to change the phone, but he wasn't able to put me on my original sim only tariff but got me as close to it as he could. If the first phone hadn't been faulty, I wouldn't have known until the first payment, which would have been too late to get out of that contract.

Always great service with a genuine interest in the customer. Its a rare thing these days. Hopefully it will stay open as so few phone stores are open

Hmmm.... Second time I have been into this shop and they have been unable to help me. The first time the staff member I spoke to gave me a vibe that he didn't want to help me because I wasn't interested in an iPhone and the second time I went in 02 systems where down so they couldn't look at my account.
