The worst customer service I?ve ever experienced. I would give zero stars if I could. Firstly, the waiter spilled a drink on my autistic brother, it was replaced and he was apologetic but a nightmare start. Our order was then taken but after sitting waiting around 25 minutes we called on a waiter to ask what was happening. The waiter then informed us that the order had "disappeared", we couldn?t believe it and were in shock. I will give this waiter credit, he was very apologetic and actually managed to take our order correctly, he was attentive and checked in on us to make sure all was good. We were told after by the manager that the order had ?disappeared into the ether". Ridiculous and unprofessional. If they were busy we would understand but it was pretty empty I thought for a Saturday night. We got our food soon after and it was decent enough but not as nice as when I had previously ordered from home, the beef on them occasions was melt in your mouth stuff and it was perfect. Also felt I got more value for money back then as there was mash included with the silverside but wasn?t on this night. Previously it was £17 for a roast and now it?s £21 so you?re paying more for less. In all honesty though the initial woeful service took so much away from it and ruined my meal. A discount was rightly given but it has put me off coming back.

Had another excellent meal at La Winters..there were a lot of empty tables which is a surprise as it used to be always busy..Don't know why as the menu is varied and very reasonably priced..

Food was devine, daniel was spot on good service, as for holly amazing service so attentive and fast service 5 stars for her, anything we needed she helped straight away what a lovely lady xx

Wasn't very impressed. Most of the staff are very pleasant but the restaurant manager was very grumpy. I think it's overpriced for some of their dishes. Very disappointing so we won't be going back again.

I had a roast beef dinner my daughter had scampi the food was amazing. Staff were really friendly.

It's amazing to find a restaurant open on New Year's Day evening. Usually, my birthday tea is a takeaway, but this year after watching Wonka, we struct it lucky. No booking necessary.Parking: If no space available in the hotel car park, plenty adjacent at the shopping centre.

Enjoyed a light lunch of two starters each today with my father. He had been to this Hotel many years ago so wanted to see it again. Service was very friendly and despite running out of chicken wings, we chose something else which was equally as good. I had the Salt and Pepper Chicken and Brie Fritters, both of which were good sized portions, and both hot and tasty. My dad had the Prawn Cocktail and the Pate, he enjoyed both, although I thought the toast the pate came with was a bit overdone. We also had wine and coffee, again the drinks and service was good. The restaurant is a little dark, but you get used to it, however this might not bother some. Parking is available to the rear of the hotel and is free.

Very nicely cooked steak! A little on the expensive side for some meals which could be reduced in price but all in all lovely. GF options for myself which was nice and it was cooked to my preferred rare.
