Lazy slow staff!! Staff are too slow to serve customers on the deli and the subway. Deli food isn't great, it's over priced and sausage rolls are poisonous. Bins outside are constantly overflowing and litter all over the car park. Staff have to be told by customers to go empty bin. Brings Mallusk down.

Great store in most ways, hard to get served at the food counter at times..the ice cream freezer has a tendency to take the public holidays off and replaced by pop-up card displays to the frustration of my daughter ?... and good to see staff enjoy a coffee ??

Deli counter slow. An egg in a fry should be fried, they are disgusting now. That would be a main feature of a fry. I have now started to go to the garage at Hightown link. Better value for money and a proper fry.

Great refurb shocking staff at the deli counter...food and portion size pathetic...the other reviews say a lot ....had I of read them would not entered the building ....admittedly I had a small dog in my bag (no signs viewed no dogs allowed) I purchased a bacon roll (hard to find the bacon) and got myself a cup of tea didn't know where to pay for it as it was my first time.there so I set the money for my tea on my table which was well away from others and in a corner away from food counters etc and ate before food and tea went cold (I am a senior and have arthritis in my hands so had to put extra cup to help me carry the hot tea) a staff.member came over asked me to leave reminded me to pay for my tea along with an extra amount for the additional empty cup...I asked where do I pay as id left the money on the table he directed.me.to the deli counter where I explained the situation I only to be insulted by a male staff member who a accused me of trying to steal a cup of tea in front of other staff and public explaining as before didn't seem to sink in with him as he continued to give abuse insult and when I aired my distaste at his manner he said DONT COME BACK
....now please note a person should not be accused of stealing unless they have left the building without paying ..this is my first experience of a state of the art facility at malkusk ....perhaps staff customer relations training would benefit ill mannered people.....totally disgusted on all sides ....taking it to a higher level .....

The drive thru has a breakfast thing on for 11.00 it was 10.45 my dad asked for a breakfast sandwich they said there is no egg left so my dad said can you put some on we will wait then she said we can not make egg past 11.00 my dad said it is 10.47 so said it will take long and she can?t put any more eggs on and me and my dad just drove off to Tim?s

I still haven't got over these eggs. So so bad, possibly the worst I've been served anywhere on the island (I asked for two soft eggs).On a brighter note I have to say the burrito bowls are lovely, the southern fried chicken is very very nice, the only thing I would add is I honestly for the life of me can't understand why the chip portions are so stingy (especially when paying extra for a chip). There was a new girl on and I heard the more senior girl telling her to weigh the wee bag of chips "make sure it's 100gs") no need be this bad. I hate complaining but this place has good potential and I would like to see it do well. Hope they get on top of it.

1 guy serves all food counters and the drive through while half a dozen women stand and watch him work. Same thing the last 6 times. The last time I was in someone scooped Ice cream from one side of the container to the other so as she didn't have to serve anyone. Makes you wonder what food hygiene is like when staff are left to do what they want week after week. Use the burger van on trench road, Mallusk instead

You need to watch how much salt you put in the salted chilli chicken way to much on it can't eat it I thought it was just me but let others try it and they said the same

Absolut joke of a deli. Asked for a chicken curry got 3 tiny bits of chicken and about a full tin of peas. I asked for more chicken got shouted at across the room by the blond girl who I wasn't even talking to (second time iv heard her shouting about the place when iv been in, sort your attitude out or get a job you can handle) told it was weighed out that's all there allowed do I want a manager, nothing was weighed out and 3/4 of the weight I got was peas. I asked for a CHICKEN curry not peas on chips with a little chicken. Not be back and I was in here everyday spending my hard earned money. The girl served me was lovely but sack that girl loves to shout at customer's.

Absolute joke, won't be using this place again. Went down hill after refurb and prices up, suppose have to pay for it somehow. Asked for sausage chips and beans today and asked for the beans to be changed out to curry sauce only to be told the price would change from 3.95 to 5.50. As I said absolute joke. Went else where and won't be back.

It's ok for a spar relatively new but slow and expensive for it being a new refurbished shop staff are a bit slow but I guess if there new that is acceptable I was 5 p short so one of the staff members helped me for it I like it just the deli staff are a bit slow

Brand new refurbishment. Hot food counters are fantastic, also has a subway and an ice cream/shakes counter. It has 3 Barista coffee machines. 1 of them offers oat milk etc. Fantastic store overall. Very unique drive through Barista too.
