My husband and I visited for the first time yesterday for our wedding anniversary and it was possibly the best food we've ever had! Everything was so fresh, cooked perfectly and beautifully presented. The service was wonderful and the restaurant itself is so cosy and inviting. We can't wait to come back! 10/10!

First time visit. can honestly say it would be probably one of the best places we have ever eaten. Service was great, food was on a different level. Top marks for the Venison starter. Will definitely be back.

A rare disappointing visit to the normally reliable Sleepy Hollow.
Took my mother for lunch. She ordered the "Leaping Lamb" which is Fish and Chips. The fish arrived, and to my eye the batter was clearly overcooked. Being of an older generation she ate a minimal amount and didn't complain. The server lifted her plate with virtually nothing eaten without asking if there was an issue or if the meal was enjoyable. When paying the bill alone the other staff member asked if everything was ok. I told her that my mum had said the fish batter was overcooked to the point of inedible, and she said it should have been raised at the time and they could have sorted it. I would agree it should have been raised at the time, but the old expression a blind man on a galloping horse could of seen there was an issue.
Parfait and Chicken Wing starts were lovely. I had a steak sandwich for my main, which was a touch fatty for what small bit of steak there was, but overall the plate was very enjoyable.
We will be back but perhaps with lowered expectations than previous visits.

I was there with my wife to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Her steak was nice, but chips were to much al dente. My sirloin steak as little bit overcooked for a medium rare. The waiting times were quite long for a main course. Main portions were good size, but the braised beef was missing some gravy.
the mains will get 4 stars.
Service was correct but no exceptional, as we had to take their attention to order our desserts. As desserts priced reasonable, none of them was ok. Sticky toffee was cold, and dry. the cheesecake was bland and flavoursome, and the crumble was all right, but the granola stuff was chewy... the potato grattan can be also improved. the starters offered that night weren't great, so we had decided to pass a they differed from the ones showed on the menu sample on internet.
If i was living around I would l give them a second chance.

Wow, we discovered Sleepy Hollow totally by accident and are we glad we did. The staff were amazing, the food even more so. I take me steak "blue" and it was the best I've had in a very long time. The best bit...the desserts, they're miniature, so you can have 2 or 3 or more. Genius!

Our group of fifteen people all enjoyed the dishes and the service was prompt and cheerful.
However the bill was quite a lot (c.£30+) higher than it should have been. When challenged by the gentleman who was acting as our treasurer, he was told ?that?s the way our system does it?.
After some discussion the bill was reduced - not by the amount of their error - but it was felt that further argument wasn?t going to help matters.
We were all really annoyed, and have agreed that we will never be back to Sleepy Hollow.
We will certainly be telling all of our friends and we were annoyed that an otherwise present lunch was ruined by careless administration.

A wonderful surprise just outside Belfast. Everything was absolutely good, from service to food. Indeed one of the best places I have tried in Ireland.
Absolutely reccomended!
