Was just in this store with my partner and child, we where looking for a new iPhone 16 and a device plan but where upon entry to store greeted by a member of staff sitting down at the back shouting what are you after... he never stood up or stopped playing on his phone. On approaching him to ask questions on device plans he was extremely rude and unhelpful. Abysmal customer service from this member of staff and we promptly left to purchase the phone at the neighbouring 3 store. Definitely will not be back completely unprofessional experience all round. 10:00am 16/08/25

I would give this place no stars but couldn't add a comment. The guy we dealt with couldn't have been more disinterested if he tried and yes I have his name but won't name him here. Just because a customer isn't in to buy a new phone you should still try to help you told me my elderly relative couldn't get his number back and that the credit he had on the phone was probably lost. Totally untrue and you could learn alot form your colleagues in the castle lane branch. I know it means having to pay for parking but go there as the staff are 100% they are there to help the customer sale or no sale. I couldn't advise anybody to go to the abbey centre store and if the management want the staff member name I am more than happy to discuss privately. Very disappointing that a company of this size appeared to have no time for older customers but that wasn't true as castle lane sorted the hole issue out in less than half half an hour. Shows how deal with the wrong member of staff and if you don't chase the issue further you are left with incorrect information. Poor show

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service my wife and I experienced at your Abbey Centre store.
A few months ago, my wife purchased a new phone from O2 over the phone. Unfortunately, the phone has stopped working?no signal, no SMS, no calls, and no data?for over a week. As busy parents of three children working full-time, we hadn?t had the chance to visit a store until today when we found a brief 30-minute window.
My wife entered the store hoping for assistance. However, from the moment she walked in, she was met with zero courtesy?no greeting, no willingness to listen. Before she could even explain the issue, the store manager immediately demanded photographic ID. She had unfortunately left it at home. Despite being in her work uniform, which clearly indicates her professionalism and identity, the manager refused to assist her in any way and simply turned her away.
She returned to me visibly upset. I decided to call the store myself to understand what had happened. To my shock, the same manager shouted at me on the phone, wouldn?t let me speak, and then hung up on me. This is completely unacceptable.
Let me remind you: when we purchased the phone, no photographic ID was required?just verification of name, address, and date of birth. In today?s digital age, there are many ways to verify identity: via the phone number, security questions, or through the O2 app with an account PIN. This manager chose none of those options and instead made the situation unnecessarily difficult.
This experience was not only frustrating, it was completely disrespectful. The manager demonstrated zero understanding of customer service, and his behavior does not reflect the standards expected of O2.
As a result, we have decided to leave O2 and will be sharing this experience with others. No customer should be treated this way.
I hope this complaint is taken seriously and appropriate action is taken to ensure no other customer has to face the same treatment.

Went to another O2 store in city centre and a world of difference..customer care as it should be. Great service and advice in a friendly helpful and honest manner!!!

Went in to get my mothers phone topped up, was still waiting 15 minutes later and decided to walk out. Only two members of staff sat at tables dealing with other customers, no one manning the till for other customers and no acknowledgement of people waiting.

Sent me to a phone repair shop to get my brand new iPhone 16 pro ?fixed?
When I went to O2 shop at Junction 1 in Antrim the young fella could not have been more obliging and fixed it within five minutes.
Really disgusted with these two clowns in Abbeycentre 02. Diabolical service and blatant lies being used to avoid few minutes work.
Poorest advertisement ever for 02.

Went to the store on a busy morning and waited to be seen by a young man Sam (English chap) I hope that?s is name.
I can?t stress that this guy was an Absolute genius! Very very patient and extremely knowledgeable, calm. As I?m not a very easy customer.
He explained everything to me very simply. He put me at ease as I was very confused and had very bad experiences on the phone with customer service.
This guy was unbelievable. I cannot sing his praises enough. He resolved my issue and left me feeling there is Still Good People left in this world.
Sam thank you very much and you deserve a raise as your Customer Support and Service was absolutely outstanding!

My phone was not receiving call or texts.Phoned e O2 and got nowhere. Called into the O2 shop and was sorted out within 10 mins. Great service very much appreciated.

My oldish tablet had stopped working. I took it here thinking I probably would have to buy a new one but the man got my old one working again. I was seen promptly, with politeness and there was no charge! Needless to say I was delighted and will go there again. I could recommend the shop to anyone. I will go back when I need a new tablet and mobile phone.

i called in yesterday to o2 abbeycentre and was looked after so well by both the manager and colin advised me on which upgrade to get and how to use smart switch i got a lovely new phone which suited my needs. i returned to the shop later as i couldnt get my sim to work and colin got it working.colin is a very professional pleasant guy who talked me through my new phone taking time to explain everything to me highly recommend 02 abbeycentre

Worst experience ever, went there to get a new switch up plan after calling customer support, and one of the staff had no interest in what we had to say, I told him about the call and in-store voucher code from unidays, but he had no interest and just told me we don't offer switch-up plans here, go to the city centre shop.
