Terrible customer service. Came up today to purchase an Xbox, didn?t have digital card so was told to go online and to come back in 5 minutes , I did this I then came back and they told me I needed id to get the item, I have no id so if I was told this information when I first came into the store obviously I wouldn?t off bought it, I understand mistakes and miscommunication happens but the staff was very rude about the whole situation so we asked for her name to complain she refused so we then asked to speak to the manager we explained the situation and was told it?s ?common knowledge ? to know this then slammed the door I am appalled by this service. I will admit the mistake on my end it happens but the attitude from the manager ?taila? was shocking never ever will I spend a penny in here again

Went to store to sell a tablet. The guy told me it was an old model and it was worth £22. I thought ?hey Ho? sure sell it, I don?t use it. I had to leave it in store for an hour them to test it. During the hour, I told my wife I?d left it in. She sent me the original purchase invoice from Curry?s, and instead of a 2nd gen (as CEX stated) it was a 6th gen £70 of a difference in value) I went to get the item back, the wee fella on the counter was embarrassed and said they?d made a mistake, they hadn?t. Completely chancing their are. He gave me the item back, minus the charger and cover, which he then had to go and find. Got the cover and a completely different charger back.
Useless store, ran my useless employees.
When you can?t get a job, I assume the job centre send people here to work. They look like they all need a good scrub.

I like this CeX store, but I am disappointed that the stock listed on the website isn?t always accurate. I went in to buy a game that was on the shelf, but they didn?t have the disc.

Good store, staff are helpful.The item you trade in need to be in good condition with cables etc , but certain items you might get away without them.

Just want to say how extraordinarily helpful staff member Aaron in the Abbey Centre branch was today. It was only a small purchase, but he pointed out a couple of ways in which I was about to trip myself up (techie stuff).
Gives me the confidence to shop there again :)

Had a game shellshock 2 for xbox 360 from here, and came all scratched the disc and case was also damaged, So i bought a disc repair machine and had to fix it myself. Goes to show this store has some staff that can't be bothered to properly check products before shipping them.

Totally incompetent. Son brought a few items for inspection. Heard nothing for 2 weeks..Received a letter telling him the items would be destroyed or dumped if not collected. When my son got off work early and asked what the issues were, the guy in the shop had no idea. Just didn't know. Useless store. Useless staff.
