Just got out of hospital they said they wouldn?t have time to do my prescription even though it?s open to 9pm I was in at 4pm I ask could I even get my anxiety tablets they told me would be tomorrow just laziness and rude in my opinion left stuck with no antidepressants antipsychotics for a night which I really need awwwwhhhhh I hate them and the service

I've been to the pharmacist for a couple of times for advice. In 2023 I suffered from a rash after sunburn and was told 'yeah, it is a rash, you'll need to see your GP'. Yesterday I called in because my eye had swollen suddenly and was told 'you'll need to see an optometrist'. Seriously! This guy is absolutely useless. I couldn't see an optometrist on a Sunday and so I went and bought some eye bath solution (elsewhere) and cleaned my eye when I got home. Would you believe a living ant came out of my eye?! If he had bothered to take a look he may have actually been able to see the little critter. He could have then sold me some eye wash or help remove it. Isn't the whole idea with the NHS on its knees that pharmacists should be doing more to help? Apparently not in Abbey Centre Boots. I shall avoid in future and go to a pharmacist who actually knows what they are talking about.

Customer service skills at the till weren?t great, the member of staff could have just been having a bad day which is completely understand but I didn?t get so much as a hi or thank you or even telling me how much I owed her. Just a look and a bye. Normally the staff are lovely but wasn?t good today

Pharmacist, Rachel (girl with friendly face, dark hair and glasses) has helped me on the day before my wedding on August 2022. I had allergy issues that has been so severe since we moved in Newtownabbey and she accommodated me and helped me out with regards my medications and sorted it out for me as soon as she could. There was an issue with one of the branches and she totally assisted me all throughout that stressful time. I was so thankful to her as nobody would want to look like a frog on their wedding day. She basically is one of the nicest people I have met in the pharmacy. All staff have always been lovely but Rachel is exceptionally professional, approachable and kind to her customers / patients. Because of this positive experience, I've always told my friend to nominate this Boots Pharmacy whenever they need prescription meds because you guys have never failed me from since we moved. You are all extremely efficient!I am very happy that people like Rachel exists in this world. We need more Rachels!! ??

No point of having a telephone when it's not answered. I made multiple attempts between 09:00 and 09:30. Had the calls been answered I would not have had a wasted journey to be told my prescription was not available.
