I was disappointed with my meal at Tinley Tandoori. The butter chicken was excessively sweet and oddly included a coconut base, and the chicken tikka masala was lackluster. The menu is overly extensive with over 100 items, making quality control questionable. The food was also overpriced. Customer service was adequate, but I?d suggest looking elsewhere for better Indian cuisine. If you?re from out of town and enjoy Indian food, or are south Asian yourself, skip this one.

Still my favourite spot for a kebab. Been going to tinley for years and can't fault them at all.
I ordered a donor kebab on pita bread with everything which was delicious (though was 60 percent through it before I realised I'd forgotten to take a pic.. sorry lol ?). I also got onion bhaji, which were also very tasty, and a chicken fillet burger which was mediocre admittedly but come on... It's a kebab shop so what do you expect.
Delivery was quick and food was good value for money. Yoyo is overrated imo, tinley is the real deal.

My husband and I are regulars here. The folks that run the place are so sweet and it's BYOB, which suits me as I'm very fussy about my wine ? They always do me a special Paneer Dhansak and it's properly nice and hot with the sweet pineapple to tone it down. Husband's favourite is the dry Chicken Tikka Masala, which comes on a sizzling hotplate and sauce on the side. Everything is already really fresh. It is very popular as a take away although I always wonder why there aren't more diners that sit in.Vegetarian options: The paneer Dhansak is not on the menu, but they will make you any dish with the paneer (Indian cheese) instead of meat

Always a smile from the guys serving and food always good. Grab yourself a massive kebab- the chicken tikka one is very good. Any curry dish I have tried was good and reasonably priced too.

Unfortunately the staff were very rude.They didn't take my nut allergy seriously and served me a naan with nuts. When we wanted clarity if there had been a mistake they were dismissive and lied that there wasn't nuts (it was supposed to be a plain naan)Eventually they finally realised their mistake and apologized, but the evening was ruined.The others didn't enjoy the food as it was bland/too sweet.The chef who came out to apologize was very nice though.Would not eat here if you have a nut allergy.

We were very disappointed. We got the food delivered and the special curry was 90% sauce. There were 3 pieces of chicken and about 4 small cubes of lamb. No prawns at all. I enjoyed the food on a previous occasion when We sat in but thus delivery was not great.

Ordered off just eat doner kebab ond onion bhaji first time ordinary and most definitely the last meet was bad smelling so wasn't looking forward to tasting it..one bite and it was vile... The onion bhaji was just pure batter no filling absolutely disgusting. Never again

Fantastic food every time, never had a bad meal out of here. Service is brilliant, always welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend. Won?t find a better curry in Newry.
