The Quays is a handy shopping spot in Newry, but it really feels like it could use a refresh. There aren?t as many shops as there used to be, and it would be great to see more variety brought in to make the centre feel lively again. The overall space is starting to look a little dated too, so a renovation would really help modernize the atmosphere and make it more inviting.
One other thing worth mentioning is the background music?it doesn?t seem like licensed tracks, and it can feel a bit off-putting. Switching to proper, licensed music would create a much better shopping experience.
With some investment and improvements, The Quays could definitely become a top destination again.

To be honest.. I wouldn't even give this 1 star... But zero isn't an option. It's so derelict with most shops empty. The Sainsburys isn't even that good. Nothing there worth going in to.

Car park is atrocious. The payment system does not work and is often an ordeal trying to get out of the place. The Buttercrane is much much easier. Simple tap of the card on the way out.
