Not had a good experience ordering a SIP 12? Dust Extraction van for delivery to the Newry store. Was meant to arrive by 26th Aug. By the 28th, after not having received any communication or notification why the shipment was delayed, called the call centre which wasn?t of any help. Went to the store myself on the 29th and a lovely assistant said she would follow up, which she did but only have my order arrived on 1 September.

Halfords are good for supplying car light bulbs but they are extortionate for charging prices of £11 to fit a bulb. I needed two bulbs fitted and charged me £22 for this. I wish I was able to fit them myself. Terrible and greedy

Staff especially Michael was helpful, carry the heavy jack I purchased out to my car. Downstairs till was not accepting cash so I had to go upstairs to pay , but not a big issue .

08/03/24 13.01 at till 001Me and friends visited this halfords store looking for a power washer, we picked up a Bosch aquatak, I was advised I picked up a showcase item that wasn't for sale, the shop clerk said his system shows there was one in stock. So he said he would go look for it, he did for 1 minute then after that said it couldn't be found, so he advised that there was none in stock for sale, (even though his system said one in stock) So I wasn't happy at this point as he wasn't bothering to help me with this item (which was £75) so my friend decided to go look at the shelf were the item was located in store and found the so called "missing item that the shop keepers couldn't find". So my friend who never ever worked in halfords was much more better at their job than they where! Very poor staff very poor customer service and was not happy about the way they tried to help, they didn't want to help make a sale!I think next time I will travel to a different halfords as I think they are not very good staff. Very unhelpful, wouldn't talk to me, acted very shy and I felt kind of unwanted!!

I called in to Halfords Newry for a Bike carrier at 9.30 am, I was served by a gentleman called Tev. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and went out of his way to make the experience pleasurable. While the store appeared short staffed at that time, he simultaneously served several other customers to a high standard of efficiency and courteousness. The enthusiasm and manner of this worker was refreshing andI felt I got a 100% VIP service and left feeling upbeat for the rest of the day. Tev would be a great asset to any employer
