Firstly I must say the volunteers here are absolutely lovely and really helpful.
However, I have serious concerns about the pricing policy. I donated some clothes a few weeks ago, all good quality items and I thought someone might get a bargain and they could raise some much needed money for the charity.
I called back just recently to find some of the items very excessively priced. One item was marked at £45. I had bought the item at a sale 6 months previous and it had only cost me £50. I was appalled to think that they would ask so much for a donated second hand item.
I thought the ethos of charity shops was to make good quality clothes available at reasonable prices and make a reasonable sum for the charity. It would appear that the price policy in this shop is aimed at pricing the needy out of an opportunity to get some quality clothes.
These shops don't pay rates and are mostly staffed by volunteers, therefore, I expect the prices to reflect that.
I would be reluctant to donate here again until they have reassessed the pricing structure with a view to providing a benefit to the less well off shopper as well as raising much needed funds.
Very disappointed.

I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome at this charity shop. The gentleman running the store tries to speak French, which is really nice and made my experience even better. It's a great shop, I highly recommend it! Thank you
